WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: March 28, 2025

  • Promo: Cody Rhodes reminded everyone he's having a promo with John Cena on Raw. Randy Orton came out to praise Rhodes and say that eventually, he's going to want to fight him for the title. Drew McIntyre came out next, complaining that everyone should've listened to him about Cena, and that it should be McIntyre in the title match at WrestleMania instead, so Orton should get to the back of the line, as Drew's going to take the title off whoever wins at Mania. Orton went for an RKO, but McIntyre escaped.
  • WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (c) defeated Pretty Deadly by pinfall.
  • Earlier backstage, Zelina Vega, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance confronted Chelsea Green and her crew, setting up a match.
  • The Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre & Piper Niven) defeated Katana Chance & Kayden Carter by pinfall. Zelina Vega tried to help KC & KC out after the match, but with Chelsea Green's help, The Green Regime stood tall.
  • United States Championship Match: LA Knight vs Braun Strowman ended in a disqualification due to interference from Jacob Fatu, who decimated Strowman.
  • Jimmy Uso was backstage talking to Jackie Redmond, promoting his match with Gunther. Melo Don't Miz came over to belittle Jimmy and call him a supporting player and such, only for The Miz to cower to Jimmy's threat of slapping him. Jimmy challenged The Miz to a match for tonight.
  • Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga got into it backstage with Jacob Fatu, as they're not happy with what he did. Fatu says when it comes to Strowman, he's going to be the last man standing and he's going to take the US title and bring it back to the family with or without Sikoa.
  • Naomi claimed that she's always been doing the right thing, including when she attacked Jade Cargill. She's done being too nice and overlooked and advises Cargill to proceed with caution.
  • Cargill was then talking to Nick Aldis and wants to get her hands on Naomi, but Naomi isn't here. B-Fab and Michin showed up to say they know Cargill's going to handle business with Naomi and that they have issues with Charlotte Flair over what she did to B-Fab.
  • Aleister Black's return was teased again.
  • Naomi attacked B-Fab and Michin during their entrance. Jade Cargill went after Naomi, who ran away before Cargill could get to her. Cargill then helped B-Fab to the back and briefly eyed-up Flair during her entrance.
  • Charlotte Flair defeated Michin by submission. After the match, Tiffany Stratton basically said "I'm going to beat Flair at WrestleMania" in so many words in a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton by pinfall due to a distraction from Kevin Owens, who eventually ran off to escape a punt from The Viper.
  • Jimmy Uso defeated The Miz by pinfall.
  • Contract Signing: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk. It turns out this will be the main event of Saturday night, as per Paul Heyman's favor, it seems. Actually, Punk clarifies at the end that it ISN'T the favor, after thanking Roman Reigns, who takes credit for why this is the main event.
