WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #536 - PENTA Arrives In WWE

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, January 18, 2025

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. PENTA [NR]

After months of speculation, PENTA made his long-awaited WWE debut on Raw, defeating Chad Gable in the most talked-about moment of the week.

9. Motor City Machine Guns [NR]

With their victory over Los Garzas on SmackDown, The Motor City Machine Guns earned an opportunity to reclaim the WWE Tag Team Championships from DIY.

8. Meta Four [NR]

Another tag team in hot pursuit of gold is Meta Four. On NXT, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson defeated The Unholy Union to become the next challengers for the Women's Tag Team Championships.

7. Fraxiom [NR]

Fraxiom extended their reign as NXT Tag Team Champions on Tuesday after overcoming the challenge of OTM.

6. Giulia [-3]

The newly crowned NXT Women's Champion only featured in a vignette on Tuesday's show, as we wait to learn who her first challenger will be.

5. Bianca Belair & Naomi [+3]

The Women's Tag Team Champions were successful on SmackDown in a non-title match against Nia Jax & Candice LeRae.

4. Lyra Valkyria [NR]

The first Women's Intercontinental Champion was crowned on Raw, as Lyra Valkyria defeated Dakota Kai to win the tournament and the title.

3. Rhea Ripley [-1]

Once again the Women's World Champion, Rhea Ripley drew the attention of Nia Jax and Bayley on Raw, highlighting the target now on her back.

2. Oba Femi [-1]

Speaking of champions being targeted, the new NXT Champion Oba Femi was the target of a sneak attack by Eddy Thorpe on Tuesday's show, seemingly setting him up as Femi's first challenger.

1. Tiffany Stratton [+3]

Tiffany Stratton enjoyed a successful first defense of her WWE Women's Championship on SmackDown, beating Bayley clean with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Sheamus - With a win over his recent rival Ludwig Kaiser on Raw, Sheamus earned a shot at Bron Breakker's Intercontinental Championship.

Damian Priest - In a Street Fight on Raw, Damian Priest (hopefully) ended his ongoing feud with Finn Balor by pinning his former partner in the center of the ring.

Shotzi - After pinning Fallon Henley last week, Shotzi benefited from interference from Fatal Influence to beat Stephanie Vaquer and become top contender for the Women's North American Championship.

Cora Jade - On Tuesday's show, Cora Jade defeated Kelani Jordan and set her sights on winning gold this year – potentially from another promotion…

Kevin Owens - In San Diego Kevin Owens beat the hometown hero Rey Mysterio to maintain his momentum heading into his Royal Rumble Ladder Match.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 40)

  1. Cody Rhodes - 32 weeks (10 weeks at #1)
  2. Judgment Day - 26 weeks (6 weeks at #1)
