WWE NXT RESULTS: JANUARY 21, 2025
- NXT North American Championship Match: Tony D'Angelo (c) retained over Ridge Holland by pinfall with some help from Izzi Dame, who kicked Holland while the referee was distracted dealing with The Family brawling with Niko Vance, Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen. Dame said "Now, we're even."
- Backstage, Wes Lee, Tyriek Igwe, Tyson DuPont and Dion Lennox were in the locker room. Lee said there's a difference between himself and someone who has a lot of potential like Lennox. Trick Williams came by and Lee gloated about Trick not having the NXT Championship anymore, so Trick slapped him.
- Promo: Bayley spoke about her love for NXT and the feud going on right now with Roxanne Perez. Giulia came out and they started to talk about the respect for the NXT Women's Championship when they were interrupted by Perez and Cora Jade, who claim to have been holding NXT together since day one. The two sides started to fight and the camera cut to the women's locker room, where Jaida Parker was excited about Bayley saying her name. Kelani Jordan mentioned she's been spoken about, too, and they started to argue when Karmen Petrovic came over to squash it by saying love is in the air. Parker said Petrovic's new man (Ashante "Thee" Adonis) is going to leave her soon and they started to fight while Bayley and Giulia were still fighting with Perez and Jade.
- Wes Lee defeated Dion Lennox by pinfall. Lee then called out Trick Williams, who went to the ring, laid out Lee, and said if he wants a match with him next week in Atlanta, he's got it. Trick bumped into Lennox on the way back on the ramp.
- Stephanie Vaquer spoke to Sarah Schreiber about Shotzi beating her last week. Vaquer isn't going to stop going after the NXT Women's North American Championship. Whoever ends up being champion between them, she's going after them.
- NXT Heritage Cup Match: Lexis King (c) retained over Charlie Dempsey. King low-blowed Dempsey at the end of the match to set up his finisher and get the winning point.
- Backstage, a depressed Andre Chase told Hank Walker and Tank Ledger that they should just break up already, because all tag teams end in heartbreak. Kelani Jordan overheard this conversation. Chase then saw a bunch of people looking at old footage of Chase U. Kale Dixon said Chase is a bad ass. Chase said he used to be, and Chase U is dead. Dixon said "It doesn't have to be."
- Karmen Petrovic defeated Jaida Parker by pinfall with some help from a distraction by Kelani Jordan.
- Sol Ruca and Zaria talked to Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend about how they want them to beat Bianca Belair and Naomi next week so they can bring the women's tag titles to NXT. The Meta Girls put over Belair and Naomi, but they do plan on winning the belts next week and when they do, all the girls will have a chance at the titles. This excited Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin, among others.
- Brooks Jensen & Niko Vance defeated Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino by pinfall.
- Sarah Schreiber interviewed Fraxiom, who promoted their upcoming title match against The Rascalz on Impact. Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura interrupted to say that they still want a title shot and that they're ducking them. Axiom and Nathan Frazer asked who they've beaten to earn it and OTM then came over to start fighting with Biggs and Inamura.
- Backstage after the commercial break, Dion Lennox was pissed, throwing stuff around. Also, Izzi Dame reiterated that she's even with Tony D'Angelo now. The Family approached after Dame walked off, upset that Tony D wasn't out for the tag team match. D'Angelo pointed out that Stacks has been an underboss for two years and should be able to figure this out by now.
- Ethan Page gave one last warning to Je'Von Evans that he won't stop and it'll be even worse if Evans doesn't back off. In Ava's office, Evans still wants a match against Page, but Evans isn't cleared to compete. However, Cedric Alexander is, and he's going to get some revenge for Evans next week. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller randomly walked into the office to suck up to Ava and announce that the winner of the NXT Championship match will be on The Grayson Waller Effect next week.
- NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) defeated Eddy Thorpe by pinfall. After the match, Trick Williams came out for a stare down with Femi and ended up hitting Thorpe with a Trick Shot after Thorpe was about to hit him.
