WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #518 - Cody Rhodes Retains In A Cage

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, September 14, 2024

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Andrade [NR]

Drawing a line under their 5-match series, Andrade defeated Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown to win the series 3-2 and earn a shot at LA Knight's United States Championship.

9. Trick Williams [NR]

Trick Williams ended his recent rivalry with Pete Dunne in the main event of this week's NXT, outlasting him in the Last Man Standing Match to earn a rematch with NXT Champion Ethan Page.

8. No Quarter Catch Crew [NR]

Thanks in part to the return of Tavion Heights from his excursion to NOAH, Charlie Dempsey retained the NXT Heritage Cup against Je'Von Evans on Tuesday's show.

7. Oba Femi [+3]

After decimating anyone who's stood against him on the NXT roster so far, Oba Femi this week instead fought TNA's Hammerstone. But this battle of behemoths still ended with Femi standing tall once again.

6. Ethan Page [-3]

Ethan Page couldn't prevent Trick Williams from winning his Last Man Standing Match with Pete Dunne, and even took a backdrop through the announce table for his efforts.

5. Judgment Day [NR]

After a challenging few weeks, Raw was a return to good fortune for Judgment Day. After beating up Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley earlier in the night, Dominik Mysterio defeated Dragon Lee and Finn Balor beat Rey Mysterio.

4. Jey Uso [+3]

In the Fatal Four-Way to determine Bron Breakker's next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship, Jey Uso overcame Braun Strowman, Ilja Dragunov and Pete Dunne to earn that opportunity.

3. Imperium [-1]

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther talked down Bret Hart in a promo exchange on Raw, and continued to duck the challenge of Sami Zayn for his title.

2. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill [+6]

In a rematch from Bash in Berlin, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill once again defeated The Unholy Union on Raw to retain their Women's Tag Team Championships.

1. Cody Rhodes [No Change]

On the first match of SmackDown's return to USA Network, Cody Rhodes successfully defended his WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa inside a Steel Cage. Then, as The Bloodline swarmed, Rhodes formed an uneasy alliance with longtime rival Roman Reigns.
