WWE NXT RESULTS: SEPTEMBER 24, 2024

  • NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) retained over Wren Sinclair by pinfall.
  • Backstage, CM Punk and Trick Williams spoke about his upcoming role as special guest referee in the NXT Championship match next week. Punk reiterates that he's proud of Trick for his journey so far, and he wants him to be the next champion, but he's not going to do him any favors. He will call the match fairly down the middle, and if the right winner ends up being Ethan Page, so be it.
  • The Grayson Waller Effect with Axiom & Nathan Frazer: Both teams tried to get under the other's skin about how their partnerships are falling apart. The segment ended with A-Town Down Under taking a cheap shot and standing over the champions, posing with the titles.
  • Oro Mensah and Lexis King had a backstage segment of rare respect about making their fathers proud and left it off shaking hands with a "may the best man win."
  • After the commercial break, Brinley Reece and Karmen Petrovic were warming up and talking about Eddy Thorpe's match last week. Ashante "Thee" Adonis came over to hit on multiple girls (both of them, Kendal Grey, Carlee Bright and Tatum Paxley) who all rejected him.
  • Hank Walker & Tank Ledger defeated The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) by pinfall
  • Backstage, Je'Von Evans and Cedric Alexander were talking when Grayson Waller and Austin Theory approached to talk some trash, leading to a challenge for later. Evans teased A-Town Down Under by pretending like Kevin Owens was behind them, which spooked them.
  • Oro Mensah defeated Lexis King by pinfall. King had his foot on the rope and decided he "didn't want to win like that", only for Mensah to do the same thing right after and be totally fine cheating to win.
  • Vignette: The D'Angelo Family helped Tony D'Angelo train in preparation for taking on Oba Femi again in the future.
  • Ridge Holland defeated Riley Osborne by pinfall.
  • Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee had a split-screen promo segment where they hyped their street fight for next week. Lee gave Wentz some "brotherly advice" that his fiancee, Gigi Dolin, shouldn't watch next week, which set Wentz off.
  • Ava called Jaida Parker and Lola Vice into her office to inform them they're booked in a tag team match together next week against Fatal Influence.
  • Rosemary & Wendy Choo defeated Karmen Petrovic & Brinley Reece by pinfall. Petrovic was distracted by Ashante "Thee" Adonis trying to hand out a flower ringside and decided to focus on that instead of being in the ring ready for a tag from Reece.
  • In the commissary, Sol Ruca was speaking to CM Punk when they were interrupted by Ethan Page, who wanted to warn Punk that he's not in the mood for any of his drama. Punk reiterated that he's not going to let anyone cheat next week and reminded Page that he "fell on top of a guy unconscious" to win the title. If Page wins in Chicago, he'll not only raise his hand, but he'll wrap the belt around his waist.
  • Fatal Influence was interviewed as part of this press conference side-bit where they didn't reveal which members of the trio will face Lola Vice and Jaida Parker next week. Parker and Vice then came barging into the room, ready to fight, but were held back.
  • A-Town Down Under defeated Cedric Alexander & Je'Von Evans by pinfall. Axiom and Nathan Frazer had came out during the match and ended up just getting in the way, leading to them arguing with each other after the pinfall.
  • In the press conference area, Trick Williams repeated much of what he's already said about how he wants to win the NXT Championship back next week. If he can overcome his emotions, he guarantees there will be a new champion.
  • In the ring, Roxanne Perez and Giulia finished out the night with their portion of the press conference. Surprisingly, Stephanie Vaquer appeared on the TitanTron to ask a question of own about what Perez and Giulia will do when they have her waiting for whoever is next. The question was not answered, as they just posed facing each other to end the show.
