WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #505 - Surviving The Battleground Before Clash At The Castle | Smark Out Moment

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Axiom & Nathan Frazer [NR]

The Supersonic Duo's reign as NXT Tag Team Champions survived through Battleground, as their speed and youthful exuberance proved too much for the veteran tandem of The Good Brothers.

9. Awesome Truth [NR]

There was another tag team title defense on Raw, as The Awesome Truth's underwhelming run as World Tag Team Champions proceeded at the expense of AOP.

8. Oba Femi [NR]

NXT's rising powerhouse Oba Femi retained his North American Championship at Battleground, batting away the threats of Wes Lee and Joe Coffey.

7. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill [-5]

The Women's Tag Team Champions spent this week posing and scouting their competition until they inevitably and comfortably retain their titles at Clash at the Castle.

6. Bron Breakker [+2]

Momentum is firmly behind Bron Breakker as he rises up the ranks on Raw. This week, he defeated Ilja Dragunov in Monday's best match, then seemingly wrote Ricochet out of WWE for good with a vicious backstage assault.

5. Kelani Jordan [NR]

Kelani Jordan captured her first taste of gold in NXT in Battleground's Six-Woman Ladder Match, as she climbed the rungs to become the very first Women's North American Champion.

4. Imperium [-3]

With Gunther still on a short break and no immediate follow-up to Ludwig Kaiser's impressive victory over Sheamus, Imperium slips down from top spot of the Power Rankings.

3. Trick Williams [NR]

In the main event of Battleground, Trick Williams outmatched the debuting Ethan Page, retaining his NXT Championship in the process.

2. Roxanne Perez [NR]

NXT's other top champion Roxanne Perez also kept hold of her gold at Battleground, as some outside distractions help her beat TNA Knockout's Champion Jordynne Grace.

1. Nia Jax [+2]

Queen of the Ring Nia Jax ascends to top spot this week by defeating Michin on SmackDown, thanks to some assistance from Tiffany Stratton at ringside.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Lola Vice - In an NXT Underground pseudo-MMA brawl, Lola Vice cemented her killer status by knocking out Shayna Baszler.

Damage CTRL - Getting revenge for her loss in the Queen of the Ring tournament, Iyo Sky defeated Lyra Valkyria due to interference from Dakota Kai.

Sami Zayn - Before he defends his Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable at Clash at the Castle, Sami Zayn earned a win over Alpha Academy member Otis.

Gallus - While Joe Coffey was unable to become North American Champion at Battleground, the Gallus trio was victorious on Tuesday night over Wes Lee & New Catch Republic.

The Bloodline - In SmackDown's main event, Solo Sikoa made a statement with his win over Kevin Owens, drawing the ire of Randy Orton in the process.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 40)

  1. Cody Rhodes - 8 weeks (3 weeks at #1)
  2. Bayley - 8 weeks
  3. Judgment Day - 7 weeks (1 week at #1)
  4. Imperium - 6 weeks (3 weeks at #1)
  5. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill - 6 weeks (1 week at #1)
