WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: MAY 3, 2024
- Bayley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi defeated Asuka, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane and Tiffany Stratton by pinfall
- Backstage: Carmelo Hayes has a run-in with Bobby Lashley, who welcomes him to SmackDown with some tension.
- The Authors of Pain defeated New Catch Republic by pinfall.
- Backstage: Paul Heyman is trying to "save" Randy Orton and Kevin Owens by trying to convince Nick Aldis to pull them from their Backlash match, but Aldis doesn't bite. Heyman says that what happens tomorrow is on his head, then, and reveals that he hasn't spoken to Roman Reigns since WrestleMania. It was actually Heyman who pulled Roman from the draft, not Roman himself.
- RKO Show: Randy Orton and Kevin Owens had their promo segment interrupted by Heyman, who tried to convince them (out of respect) to back out of their match. Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa attacked Owens and Orton from behind and a brawl ensued.
- LA Knight defeated Angel Garza by pinfall. After the match, Knight declared himself for the King of the Ring tournament, as does Santos Escobar.
- Backstage: Carlito explained why he attacked Dragon Lee out of frustration for having his WrestleMania moment not granted to him by Rey Mysterio. Lee then attacked Carlito and the two had to be separated.
- A-Town Down Under retained the WWE Tag Team Championship over The Street Profits by pinfall.
- Tomorrow, they'll announce where WrestleMania 41 will take place.
- AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes had a promo hyping their Backlash match, leading to Styles slapping Rhodes before the camera cuts to the back to show The Bloodline still fighting with Owens and Orton.
