WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #499 - A Drab Draft Week Before Backlash France | Smark Out Moment

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Ricochet [NR]

After helping Jey Uso & Andrade defeat The Judgment Day on Raw, Ricochet hopped on over to X to beat Johnny Gargano and become the first-ever WWE Speed Champion.

9. Axiom & Nathan Frazer [NR]

All three of WWE's male tag team champions putting their belts on the line this week. Axiom & Nathan Frazer had the tallest task facing AOP, but the NXT Tag Team Champions overcame the giants to complete a successful first defense.

8. Oba Femi [NR]

Also on Week 2 of NXT Spring Breakin', Oba Femi continued his reign as North Amercian Champion with his victory over the main roster's Ivar in a "big meaty men slapping meat" match.

7. A-Town Down Under [NR]

Over on SmackDown in front of a vibrant French crowd, A-Town Down Under successfully defended the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits.

6. Jey Uso [+3]

On Raw, Jey Uso continued to build momentum ahead of his clash with Damian Priest over the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash France. Uso teamed up with Andrade & Ricochet to defeat Priest and his Judgment Day cohorts in a Six-Man Tag.

5. Bayley [+3]

Later in the week on SmackDown, there was an Eight-Woman Tag with WWE Women's Champion Bayley on the winning side. Bayley aligned with Naomi, Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill to beat Damage CTRL & Tiffany Stratton.

4. Becky Lynch [-1]

Fresh off capturing the Women's World Championship in last week's Battle Royal, Becky Lynch invited all challengers on Raw. Unsurprisingly, it appears Liv Morgan will be the first one to step up to The Man now the dust has settled on the WWE Draft.

3. The Awesome Truth [+4]

The first tag team title defense of the week took place on Raw, as The Awesome Truth's reign as World Tag Team Champions continued at the expense of Alpha Academy's Otis & Akira Tozawa.

2. Trick Williams [No Change]

Trick Williams celebrated finally conquering Ilja Dragunov and becoming NXT Champion on this week's show, before engaging in some flirty banter with Lash Legend and receiving a mysterious envelope, perhaps indicating his first challenger.

1. Cody Rhodes [No Change]

Due to a lack of movement from the rest of the roster, Cody Rhodes stays top of the Power Rankings for another week, having a promo segment with AJ Styles on SmackDown prior to their WWE Championship match at Backlash France.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Imperium - With the King of the Ring tournament starting soon, Gunther set out his credentials by defeating the most recent King Xavier Woods on Raw.

Liv Morgan - After just missing out on the Women's World Championship last week, Liv Morgan bounced back in her pursuit with a win over Nia Jax on Raw.

Andrade - Seemingly in his last Raw match for a while, Andrade worked with Jey Uso & Ricochet to secure a victory over Judgment Day.

Lola Vice - In the main event of Spring Breakin' Night 2, Lola Vice capitalized on a distracted Natalya to beat the veteran in an NXT Underground Match.

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill - Backlash France could very well see the coronation of new Women's Tag Team Champions, as Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill displayed their dominance in an Eight-Woman Tag on SmackDown opposite The Kabuki Warriors.

Do you think anyone should be listed differently?
