WWE Superstars Released in 2024 List of Wrestlers Fired, Retired & More (Future Endeavors) | Smark Out Moment

This list will keep track of all the releases, firings, quits, and "future endeavors" of any kind for the year 2024. Keep checking back throughout the year for new updates on the latest releases and the people that have retired or been fired.

  • January 25 - Kevin Patrick was released
  • January 26 - Vince McMahon resigned (aka, he was forced to resign as a release due to his lawsuit and the damage his reputation is causing the brand)
  • February 9 - Amari Miller was released
  • April 19 - Jinder Mahal, Sanga, Veer Mahaan, Von Wagner, Xia Li, Xyon Quinn were released
  • April 23 - Cameron Grimes was released, and it seems Guru Raaj was as well (probably much earlier than this date for Raaj)
  • May 3 - Several releases from NXT announced today are Boa, Darrell Mason, Drew Gulak, Emma Maria Diaz, Ezekiel Balogun, Hayden Pittman (not confirmed), Julian Baldi, Keyshawn Leflore, Kiyah Saint, Trey Bearhill, Valentina Feroz, Vlad Pavlenko
  • May 4 - Gable Steveson was released
  • June 1 - Scrypts will not be having his contract renewed
  • June 1 - Becky Lynch's contract has expired. She may be re-signing with WWE, but until then, we don't know. 
  • KAYFABE - June 17 - Drew McIntyre "quit" WWE on Monday Night Raw as part of a storyline and immediately showed up on the next episode of SmackDown
  • KAYFABE - June 20 - Brooks Jensen's a "free agent"
  • June 28 - Kayla Braxton, Dijak and Ricochet were all released from WWE
  • July 8 - Damon Kemp was released from WWE 
  • August 16 - Bobby Lashley and MVP were moved to the WWE alumni section after their contracts expired earlier this month
  • September 2 - Odyssey Jones was removed from the WWE roster and seemingly fired due to domestic violence allegations
  • October 21 - Samantha Irvin left WWE
  • November 1 - Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox were released
