WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2024 Spoilers |
WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament Final: TBD vs. TBD
Without knowing who is in the match, it is hard to fully predict. All we know at this particular moment is that Bayley has moved on past the first round of the tournament. The rest of the bracket will be filled out in due time and this post will be updated sporadically to reflect new information and opinions.
PREDICTION: Bayley, Naomi, Jade Cargill, or Bianca Belair wins. I'm rooting a bit for Chelsea Green, though.
PREDICTED MATCHES (as of 9/18/2024)
- WWE (and let's face it, any company; AEW has done this, too) will always try hardest on the first show to impress the buyers and fans, before copping out. Look at how AEW has handled Battle of the Belts specials. Therefore, consider this likely the best one to come out of these, with all future editions being progressively less important, unless it ends up being hugely successful and a big promotional tool going forward.
- With that in mind, I fully expect The Rock to be here, but I don't think he'll be wrestling. That would be a HUGE get, but this is going to take place just a few weeks prior to the Netflix debut of Monday Night Raw on January 1st. I don't think they can justifiably have him wrestle on one of them and not on the other, and I certainly don't think he'll wrestle on both. As such, I think we'll see The Rock cut promos on both and nothing more. His mere presence will be treated like it is good enough.
- I do expect to see Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship as a possibility, though. Maybe that's when the match against Roman Reigns happens. Or maybe that's even asking for too much, and it ends up being a tag team match he's involved in or something. It's hard to tell where things will end up after Survivor Series. I'm guessing this is just Kevin Owens and they're bypassing Survivor Series to have that match here, instead.
- I expect this to be a cross-branded show featuring talent from both Raw and SmackDown, but nothing from NXT.
This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
