WWE NXT RESULTS: JANUARY 23, 2024
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals: Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker defeated Axiom and Nathan Frazer by pinfall.
- Backstage, Josh Briggs went over to Ilja Dragunov to basically say he needs to test himself against the champion, but Dragunov was ducking Trick Williams. Trick interrupted and after some trash talking about how Trick's going to lose to Dragunov and go back to being the sidekick of Carmelo Hayes. This set up Trick vs Briggs for later. (Weird segment, just making Briggs needlessly argumentative)
- Wren Sinclair was nervous in the locker room about being new to NXT. Fallon Henley gave her some encouragement.
- Ava has been apparently named general manager, according to William Regal, who made his return walking out of Shawn Michaels' office and gave her some words of wisdom.
- Lash Legend defeated Wren Sinclair by pinfall. Henley came out after the match to help Wren fight off Meta-Four.
- OTM attacked some people in the restaurant that The D'Angelo Family frequents.
- Elektra Lopez was on the hunt for Lola Vice, interacting with Arianna Grace and others on the lookout.
- Joe Gacy attacked Dijak from behind and they brawled around ringside.
- Von Wagner trained at the UFC Knights stadium with his kids and Mr. Stone.
- Lexis King defeated Trey Bearhill by pinfall.
- Locker Room: Melo says Trick is fighting Dragunov's battles for him and that he's going to lose sight of the Dusty Cup and blah blah. Trick effectively says "nah man" and that's about it.
- Lola Vice was the guest on Supernova Sessions with Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. After talking about how great she is and how she has no regrets, Elektra Lopez came out, talked trash about how much of a phony Vice is, and attacked Vice.
- The D'Angelo Family responded through a video about how they'll respond to OTM soon.
- Repo men (not Repo Man) confiscated the classroom for Chase University, including Duke Hudson's trophy. Andre Chase said that next week, they'll say their goodbyes.
- Dragon Lee defeated SCRYPTS by pinfall. Oba Femi agreed to put the NXT North American Championship on the line at Vengeance Day against Lee. OTM had been attacked by The D'Angelo Family during the end of the match.
- Brinley Reece tried to pump up Malik Blade and Edris Enofe while they're down on their bad luck about having lost the Dusty Cup.
- Tatum Paxley didn't get the hint when Lyra Valkyria was telling her they aren't a pair and teaming together last week was a one-time deal.
- Blair Davenport defeated Karmen Petrovic by pinfall.
- Interview: Ridge Holland addressed being taken out by Gallus last week. He doesn't have any friends, but he'll take on Gallus by himself.
- Trick Williams defeated Josh Briggs by pinfall. Briggs is now seemingly a heel after laying out Williams after the pinfall with a clothesline. Melo had gotten involved to stop Dragunov from getting in the ring after Briggs had kicked him when Trick moved out of the way.
- Backstage: Lexis King gloated around Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail. Riley Osborne told him to beat it. Then, Osborne asked Hail for some time alone together, to which Hail freaked out in excitement while Jayne told her to chill.
- Vignette: No Quarter Catch Crew
- Ava moderated a contract signing with Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez. Paxley put Perez through the table, which Valkyria wasn't asking for.
