WWE NXT RESULTS: JANUARY 16, 2024
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Match: Trick Melo Gang
(Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams) defeated Edris Enofe and Malik Blade by pinfall.
- Promo: Oba Femi is a heel who doesn't want to continue the open challenge, but might accept Dragon Lee's challenge for a title match at Vengeance Day.
- Backstage: Eddy Thorpe and Trey Bearhill are becoming friends and Dijak is going to mess Bearhill up.
- Backstage: Ilja Dragunov offers Trick Williams a title shot for Vengeance Day to make up for New Year's Evil. While Williams is happy about this, Hayes is upset, as that's the same night as the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
- Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley defeated Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez by pinfall.
- Ridge Holland defeated Joe Coffey by pinfall.
- Jacy Jayne thanked a bunch of girls for their help with her plan to save Chase U. In particular, she wants to hang out with Jazmyn Nyx and get to know her better.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Match: LWO (Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) defeated Chase University (Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne) by pinfall.
- Von Wagner wants a shot at Noam Dar's Heritage Cup and was messing with him about not understanding the rules.
- Dijak defeated Trey Bearhill by pinfall. Joe Gacy got involved in the match by headbutting Dijak, and fought with him after the match. Meanwhile, Lexis King attacked Bearhill.
- Backstage: JBL told Josh Briggs that he wants him to find himself and discover who he is.
- Vignette: No Quarter Catch Crew is training.
- Backstage: Trick plans on wrestling double duty at Vengeance Day. Melo thinks they should keep their focus on the tournament and seems upset when Trick says he could end up holding the tag titles and the NXT Championship at the same time.
- Roxanne Perez won the Battle Royal to determine Lyra Valkyria's challenger for NXT Vengeance Day (final four had been her along with Fallon Henley, Kelani Jordan, Kiana James)
