WWE NXT NEW YEAR'S EVIL RESULTS: JANUARY 2, 2024
- Lyra Valkyria retained the NXT Women's Championship over Blair Davenport by pinfall. After the match, Lola Vice tried to cash in her title match from winning the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, but Tatum Paxley attacked her to stop that from happening.
- Ilja Dragunov is not cleared to compete. The scheduled title match against Trick Williams is off.
- Latino World Order (Carlito, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Drew Gulak, Myles Borne and Damon Kemp) by pinfall.
- Backstage, Grayson Waller got into it with Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. They suggested a match, and Melo volunteered Trick to put his title match on the line in order to convince Waller to agree to it. Trick wasn't happy about Melo overstepping like that.
- Roxanne Perez defeated Arianna Grace by pinfall. However, the referee reversed his decision after Perez continued to beat down on Grace after the match.
- Ava explained to Kelly Kincaid how she's become the assistant to Shawn Michaels, which was basically at the behest of Paul Heyman. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament starts next week.
- Fallon Henley defeated Tiffany Stratton by pinfall. As per the stipulation, this means she must be Henley's servant.
- Baron Corbin asked Bron Breakker to be his partner in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Breakker wasn't into the idea, but Corbin convinced him, because they're both assholes and nobody would want to tag with them, and they'd destroy everyone.
- NXT Men's Breakout Tournament Final: Oba Femi defeated Riley Osborne by pinfall.
- Backstage Stuff: Thea Hail wants to cheer up Riley Osborne. Jacy Jayne told Andre Chase he can't focus on 2 things at once, and Osborne should be teaming with Duke Hudson in the Dusty Cup instead. Tatum Paxley told Lyra Valkyria that as long as she's champion, all is right in the world. Axiom and Nathan Frazer will team up for the tournament, but Frazer once again badmouthed someone (this time, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade) as they were standing right behind him. Brooks Jensen was all by himself overhearing this and looked sad in the background. Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo were asked about OTM's challenge, said Chase U isn't off the hook, and formally introduced Adriana Rizzo as the glue of the family. Joe Gacy was in their car's trunk.
- Trick Williams defeated Grayson Waller by pinfall with a little help from Kevin Owens.
