WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 Spoilers and Predictions |
Devil's Playground Match for the NXT Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ethan Page
They've traded the title back and forth. It's not worth putting it back on Page and doing that again. This is a means to milk an extra rubber match out of the two, and then, Trick can move on.
As far as the gimmick is concerned, Devil's Playground is just a regular No Disqualification match. I'm sure it'll be fun, but I really hope they at least try to make it a little different with some weaponry and set design that makes it fit the Halloween Havoc theme, instead of just using the same boring kendo sticks and tables that we get all the time.
PREDICTION: Trick Williams retains.
Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match for the NXT North American Championship: Tony D'Angelo (c) vs. Oba Femi
Having this be effectively a TLC match means you're going to hear me do my normal complaint: TLC matches are not their own matches! They're just ladder matches! Aaaaggghhh!!!
Now that that's out of the way, supposedly, The D'Angelo Family is barred from ringside. I don't know if that's official, or if Femi was just saying that, but that should make it harder for D'Angelo to retain. However, I can't imagine WWE had Femi suffer his first loss just to win this belt back. More so, I think Femi will be moving on to either a main roster call-up or he will be the one to dethrone Trick Williams and win the NXT Championship at some point in the next few months, possibly at NXT Stand & Deliver.
With that in mind, he has to lose here, and the ladder match (yes, I said ladder match) gimmick means that D'Angelo can win without Femi suffering another pinfall loss. Maybe The D'Angelo Family gets involved, or maybe someone else comes out and does something that gives Tony D the advantage, either by proxy of him paying them off, or by someone starting a feud with Femi on their own accord and him just taking advantage of the situation.
PREDICTION: Tony D'Angelo retains.
Tag Team Match: Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade vs. Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer
To be honest, this should be on an episode of NXT, not on a pay-per-view. I know it's a big match as far as star power for this brand, but I'd rather Perez defend the title against Vaquer or Giulia.
My guess is we see Giulia and Vaquer win, which results in the two of them fighting each other on a future episode of NXT to determine the No. 1 contender who can fight Roxanne at the next event, which could very well be Deadline, even though they haven't announced that yet.
PREDICTION: Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer win.
Ambulance Match: Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland
I'd
have to imagine this results in the grand total of Chase University
ganging up on Holland and taking him out, rather than Holland putting
Chase on the shelf AGAIN, as that's just repetitive.
NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. ???
Uh...so is she fighting Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, or Zaria?
This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
