NXT HALLOWEEN HAVOC 2024 RESULTS:

Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match for the NXT North American Championship: Tony D'Angelo (c) vs. Oba Femi

RESULT: Tony D'Angelo retained by pinfall with help from the rest of The D'Angelo Family
THOUGHTS: I don't see the reasoning behind booking this rematch just to have Femi take another pin, especially in a ladder match, where D'Angelo could have retained by climbing the ladder and retrieving the title. What's the thought process behind "Femi has to take another pinfall loss"? The match wasn't bad, but TLC matches are just ladder matches, and changing it to a pinfall makes it even less of a TLC match, so this was all around just an unnecessary No DQ match with a finish that didn't push D'Angelo any better and gave Femi a loss for nothing.

Tag Team Match: Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade vs. Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer

RESULT: Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia won by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Vaquer getting the win should earn her a title shot. Zaria afterward did nothing. Okay. It's a stall, but whatever, the match was good enough.

Ambulance Match: Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland

RESULT: Ridge Holland won
THOUGHTS: So Holland took out Chase, then Duke Hudson, then Riley Osborne, then Riley Osborne again, and then Chase again. I don't see the point here if the story doesn't move forward at some point.

Gauntlet Match for the NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Jazmyn Nyx, then Jacy Jayne, then Fallon Henley

RESULT: Fallon Henley won the title
THOUGHTS: A gauntlet was a good way of taking the belt off Jordan and keeping her strong. I'm glad Henley is champion, even though I'd have also been okay with Jayne or if Jordan had retained, too, in the grand scheme of things.

Devil's Playground Match for the NXT Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ethan Page

RESULT: Trick Williams retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: The match was fine, but again, if you're going to have gimmicks, play into the gimmicks. This was a Falls Count Anywhere match that took place entirely in and around the ring with the pinfall happening dead in the ring. Who was booking this event and decided they wanted to negate their own ideas of stipulations? That's so weird. I'm glad Trick retained, but I'm not sure I want to see the feud to follow with Ridge Holland after he attacked Williams post-match.
