WWE Bad Blood 2024 Spoilers

Hell in a Cell: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

My God, I hope CM Punk's body is able to make it out of this in tact. Since he's already called his shot in wanting to fight Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, and I think that will happen either at Crown Jewel or Survivor Series, I can't imagine this ends with Drew McIntyre coming out on top.

PREDICTION: CM Punk wins.

Singles Match for the Women's World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

We've finally come around to the point where Rhea Ripley needs to win her title back. They've had enough stall tactics along the way. Push has come to shove. Liv Morgan's had the belt long enough that dropping it now is no negative to her career, and I think fans are more than ready to embrace Ripley as the top woman on Raw. It's time to start setting up some plans for WrestleMania 41.

Update: The extra stipulation here is that Dominik Mysterio will be hanging from a shark cage during the match. Neat. In typical fashion, you can expect to see him either break out of the cage or drop something for Liv Morgan's benefit. I'd anticipate that blows up in his face and whatever he drops ends up being used by Ripley instead.

PREDICTION: Rhea Ripley wins.

Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

I'm glad to see this was added to the pay-per-view, though I do think there's a chance it could have been fine enough as a television match, depending on what doesn't get added to this lineup instead. It's too early to go with a gimmick match, and this already has a Hell in a Cell match on the card, so I'm fine with it being a standard singles bout, too.

If the feud is going to continue, Balor probably wins. However, I would probably just go ahead and give the victory to Priest. After all, if Balor wins, he'll only win through interference from the rest of The Judgment Day, and we've seen that a million times, so nothing is different and it would just lead to another of this.

PREDICTION: Damian Priest wins.

Singles Match for the WWE Women's Championship: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley

Ugh. I didn't care to see the original match. Why would I care to see the rematch? Even if this would have been a Triple Threat match with Naomi also involved, I wouldn't have cared much, but I would have at least been more interested in how that would have played out. This being just Bayley against Nia Jax means it's either Bayley winning the title back and reverting to a lackluster reign I wasn't into, or Jax retains and it serves no purpose but to waste time. I'm really hoping Tiffany Stratton cashes in, as that's the only outcome I'm down to see. Then again, with Naomi looking upset at losing, I could see this playing out with her turning heel and joining up with Jax, oddly enough. Maybe I'm looking too much into that, though.

PREDICTION: Tiffany Stratton cashes in? Please?

Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

This is tricky. It's always easier for heels to keep winning to continue a storyline. However, how do you do that in a match where either Roman Reigns or the WWE champion, Cody Rhodes, would have to take a pinfall loss? Unless WWE is really hammering down the point of Sikoa being a threat to Reigns (now that it seems his quest for the WWE title is likely on the back burner), and it is The Original Tribal Chief who looks up at the lights, then I can't see them coming out out of this losing.

PREDICTION: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns win.
