WWE BAD BLOOD 2024 RESULTS:

Hell in a Cell: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

RESULT: CM Punk won via pinfall
THOUGHTS: Great opener. This was fun. I'm always disappointed when the cage isn't used more, so I'm left wanting on that end of things, but I enjoyed the stuff with the beads and the other weaponry.

Singles Match for the WWE Women's Championship: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley

RESULT: Nia Jax retained her title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: This was a solid match; admittedly better than I had anticipated. I still think Jax retaining just makes this ultimately moot and an unnecessary rematch. I'd have been happier with a Tiffany Stratton cash in that actually followed through, rather than one that was attempted but never made official.

Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor

RESULT: Damian Priest won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: This would have been a very good main event of Monday Night Raw. As essentially In Your House Bad Blood 2024's mid-event match, it did its job, even if I will perpetually wish we had some more titles on the line on these premium live events instead.

Singles Match for the Women's World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley [with Dominik Mysterio hanging from a shark cage]

RESULT: Raquel Rodriguez caused a disqualification by attacking Rhea Ripley, who was declared the winner by disqualification, allowing Liv Morgan to retain her title.
THOUGHTS: I'm not the absolute biggest fan of the finish, but I do like it slightly better than if Ripley had been pinned. I just don't know if I want to see them drag this out too much longer. At least Raquel is back and her heel turn should help her.

Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

RESULT: Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns won by pinfall (Reigns pinned Sikoa)
THOUGHTS: Hey, Jimmy Uso is back! Very cool. I liked this match, I liked the finish, and I liked how Reigns was hesitant to help Rhodes, but decided to join in after the match. The Rock appearing was a bonus button on this, but he didn't do anything but indicate he's coming after all of them.
