AEW All In 2024 Spoilers |
Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson
Danielson's M.O. is to hype up a win, only to lose. Callum brought up a good point on the Hot Tags 660 episode about putting the belt on Danielson, having him go on a few months of a run, and then losing it at WrestleDream, possibly back to Strickland. I'm still thinking there's a good change "Hangman" Adam Page beats Strickland at All Out for the title, though, so until Danielson wins here and throws that for a loop, that'll be my thought process.
Update: Now that Danielson's career is on the line, essentially, I guess we're getting a new champion. It's certainly not a guarantee that he'll win here, as his contract is up and he could just sign a small extension to get to this match and retire, but I bank more on him retiring at WrestleDream.
PREDICTION: Bryan Danielson wins the title.
Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: "Timeless" Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May
I can imagine a lot of people really leaning toward Mariah May here. That could very well be the case, but I don't think May has the momentum on her side. Yes, I get it, she did just turn on her friend and win the Owen Hart Cup, so she has more momentum than ever before, but I don't think that quite translates to being the top women's champion. Then again, maybe with Mercedes Moné, Tony Khan is just thinking that he can have this belt take a step back and Mercedes will be positioned as the top champion instead, oddly enough.
Singles Match for the AEW American Championship: MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay
I'm 50/50 on this. Before MJF changed the International Championship to the American Championship, I was thinking MJF retains and drops it to Daniel Garcia at All Out. Now that MJF has turned this into the American Championship, unless the plan is to just get a TON of heat in London, I wouldn't put it past Tony Khan to have created a whole belt just to have a few weeks of that and book Ospreay to win it back and revert it back to the International Championship.
Update: Since they keep referring to it still as the International Championship, I'll go ahead and say Ospreay just wins it back. Sometimes, it really just is that simple.
Coffin Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Jack Perry (c) vs. Darby Allin
Darby Allin won the Royal Rampage match to set himself up for a world title match for Grand Slam. That, factored in with how Allin won the Blood & Guts match by threatening Perry, putting him in a position of power over him, makes me think Perry is retaining here.
Update: Coffin match now? Very cool. That does give me some hesitation in my Jack Perry pick, but I'll stick with him, even if I'm less convinced now than I was prior to that announcement.
Singles Match for the AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Now that Kamille is backing up Mercedes, I can't imagine AEW being so foolish as to immediately switch over to Baker winning the title and negating any enforcer power that Kamille is bringing to the table. That'd be insanely stupid.
Zero Hour — Mixed Tag Team Match: Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway vs. Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii
Considering all the people who won't be on this card, this shouldn't be taking up space. This should be a television match, if anything.
Casino Gauntlet Match: Orange Cassidy vs. TBD
Without knowing who will be involved, it's almost impossible to predict this match.
Singles Match for the FTW Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Hook
I keep repeating the same thoughts over and over, but Hook should win the title back and retire this belt.
Three-Way Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster)
The three-way aspect even more so makes me think The Young Bucks are retaining, even though I had just assumed that they would no matter who their opponents would be. I can't picture The Elite losing any of their titles any time soon, unless the angle is just on its dying days and I'm unaware of that.
Four-Way London Ladder Match for the AEW World Trios Championship: The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) (c) (with Mother Wayne) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn) vs. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) vs. TBD Wild Card Team
Ladder match? Cool. The teams involved? I'm down. It'll be interesting to see who gets that final Wild Card spot.
