The WWE NXT North American Championship has changed hands as Trick Williams defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the title at NXT No Mercy on September 30, 2023.
My immediate reaction: I'm so curious if this was meant to be Mustafa Ali. But whether that's the case or not, I'm glad Trick is the new champion. He's someone with huge star potential and this is a big step toward that. Dom can keep doing his shtick without the title just fine. And let's see if Trick having a title has any impact on his friendship with Carmelo Hayes.
