WWE NXT RESULTS: SEPTEMBER 5, 2023

  • NXT Women's Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) defeated Kiana James by pinfall. Becky Lynch will face Stratton next week for the title.
  • Ilja Dragunov defeated Oro Mensah by pinfall. Carmelo Hayes said after the match that Wes Lee and Dragunov will fight in a #1 contender's match next week to set up Melo's challenger for No Mercy.
  • Throughout the night, Diamond Mine interacted with several tag teams, as The Creed Brothers want to get back on track to win the tag titles, but all the other teams obviously want to be the next champions in their own right.
  • Thea Hail got annoyed that Blair Davenport was picking on her AND that Gigi Dolin (who was trying to give her some advice to not hang around Jacy Jayne) was treating her like a child.
  • NXT Global Heritage Invitational Match (Group B): Nathan Frazer defeated Duke Hudson by pinfall.
  • Tyler Bate defeated Dabba-Kato by pinfall.
  • Mustafa Ali defeated Dragon Lee by pinfall (with a fast count from special guest referee Dominik Mysterio, who Ali punched after the match)
  • NXT Global Heritage Invitational Match (Group A): Butch vs Axiom was a draw due to the time limit expiring.
  • Thea Hail defeated Gigi Dolin by submission due to some interference from Blair Davenport.
  • Lyra Valkyria gave Kelani Jordan some words of advice for her loss last week. Dana Brooke took offense to Lyra talking to her protege.
  • No Disqualification Match: Bron Breakker defeated Von Wagner by pinfall.
