- Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews the AEW Women's World Champion Saraya and Ruby Soho. They talk about how Toni Storm has completely lost her mind. Saraya says that she will be making her official re-debut at Grand Slam, the place where she debuted in AEW, saying that she will walk out of Arthur Ashe Stadium still the champion.
- Tony Schiavone has a sit-down interview with Claudio Castagnoli and Eddie Kingston. Castagnoli calls Kingston out and Eddie goes after him. Kingston says that Claudio left him all alone in the Indies. Kingston wants Castagnoli in New York at Grand Slam...in a title-for-title match. Castagnoli accepts but only if Kingston shows him respect and shakes his hand. Claudio says he will never lose his title to a man like Kingston.
- Bullet Club Gold (Juice Robinson and The Gunns) defeated Gravity, Aerostar, and Dion Del Inframundo by pinfall.
- CJ Perry discusses her arrival at All Out. Perry says she was Miro's first victim when he lost the TNT Championship. She talks about how she sat on the sidelines for two years, asking herself if she has what it takes. She wants to once again become the coldest manager in all of wrestling.
- The Acclaimed talk about their win from All In and how they will return to New York City a year after they became tag team champions, this time though, with the AEW Trios Championship.

- Grand Slam Eliminator Tournament Semifinals: Roderick Strong (w/The Kingdom) defeated Darby Allin (w/Nick Wayne) by pinfall, advancing to the finals.

- Tony Schiavone, in the ring, introduces Bryan Danielson. Danielson is asked what's next for him. Danielson mentions how he told his daughter that when she turned 7 he will wind his career down. She's six, and acknowledges that time is running out. With that said, Danielson says that he will not go gently into that goodnight. He's going to kick everybody's head in. If this is his last year, his final year, this will be the most epic year of Danielson's career. He says that he is calling his shot, with his next shot at 10/1, Seattle, Washington, AEW WrestleDream. He wants to fight the self-proclaimed best technical wrestler in the world, Zack Saber Jr! Ricky Starks, along with Big Bill, interrupts. Starks says that of course he is sitting back at catering, not getting any attention. He says that after All Out he proved himself as being the man, doing things that Danielson couldn't have ever done in his career. Starks says that he has graduated from being hungry and instead he is now greedy. It is in his nature and he will take and take. Danielson says that he wasn't done yet with what he had to say. He approves of Ricky Starks. It looks as though Danielson is going to offer Starks a spot in the Blackpool Combat Club, but Big Bill attacks him. Starks stops him and instead does the beatdown himself. Moxley runs out to save Danielson but Bill and Starks take him out too. Starks chokes out Danielson.
