AEW COLLISION RESULTS: SEPTEMBER 2, 2023
- Tony Khan delivers a message. He officially confirms that he has terminated CM Punk's contract due to the risk and fear being brought towards production at All In. Punk is no longer All Elite.
- Tony Schiavone is in the ring and introduces Ricky Starks (and Big Bill). Schiavone chastises Starks for challenging a 70 year old man to a strap match at All Out. Ricky says that he is so tired of having to start over. But he does it because he shows up and shows out every single time. He says you can't put a lid on a boiling pot because he'll overflow. Starks complains that he had to sit at home and watch All In instead of being on the card due to his suspension. This is the last time he will miss an opportunity like that. He calls out Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat to come out and answer him. Steamboat's music hits and he comes straight into the ring. Steamboat says that even after what Starks did to him a few weeks ago, Steamboat didn't complain. Steamboat says that Starks talks a big game but All Out will be different. Steamboat gives the contract to Schiavone to show Starks that the match is in fact between Starks and "The Dragon." Starks signs the contract for the strap match. Steamboat says that everyone knows him as The Dragon and whatnot, but everyone also knows this guys...Bryan Danielson's music hits, making his grand return. Danielson will be fighting in Steamboat's honor, as he signs the contract. The No Disqualification Strap Match will be Ricky Starks vs. Bryan Danielson at All Out.
- Backstage, Jon Moxley talks about his International Championship match against Orange Cassidy at All Out.
- AEW World Trios Championship: The Acclaimed (c) (Anthony Bowens, Max Caster, and Billy Gunn) defeated Daniel Garcia and 2.0 (Angelo Parker and Matt Lenard) by pinfall, retaining the titles.
- Lexy Nair interviews The Dark Order backstage. They don't like what Adam Cole has become. They vow to beat Cole and MJF for the ROH Tag Team Championship tomorrow night.
- Tony Schiavone interviews Ricky Starks backstage. Every obstacle Starks faces he knocks it out of the park. Tomorrow he will do it again because he is "Absolute."
- Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) defeated Nick Wayne and Komander by pinfall.
- Tony Schiavone interviews Wayne after the match. Wayne says that he's confused why Darby Allin forgave AR Fox for what Fox did to him. Allin talks about his relationship with Wayne's dad. Allin asks Wayne to be in his corner tomorrow at All Out. Christian Cage and Luchasaurus interrupt. Cage throws some more jabs at Cage's parents, mostly Wayne's mother. Cage says that he'll slide into his mom's DMs. Cage says that the United Center can smell a loser right away in Allin. He calls him a loser in life and tells Wayne to carry a towel with him at ringside. He tells Wayne that he will have to throw in the towel tomorrow night. It's going to be a massacre at the hands of Luchasaurus. Cage (and Luchasaurus) when it's all said and done, will still be standing at the top of the mountain and the face of TNT.
- Eddie Kingston and Katsuyori Shibata talk trash about their opponents Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta ahead of All Out.
- Nair interviews The Outcasts Saraya and Ruby Soho. Saraya tells Nair to not be ugly and disgusting, when asked about the tension between the group. The AEW Women's World Champion wishes she was still in London instead of the smelly United States. Soho says not to worry about The Outcasts. Soho says she will bring the TBS Championship to The Outcasts at All Out. They say that Toni Storm will be fine. Soho vows to drop the homegrown talents once again.
- Former Chicago Bulls legend, Dennis Rodman, comes out to the United Center. Rodman is quickly interrupted by Jeff Jarrett and his brigade. Jeff Jarrett tells Schiavone to get out of the ring. After hyping up his group and some subtle jabs, Rodman finally speaks. He says that it's a great day to be in Chicago. Rodman pokes fun of Satnam Singh, comparing him to Shaq. Sonjay Dutt overs world peace to Rodman when everyone gets out the ring. Rodman throws Dutt down. The Acclaimed music hits and runs out Jarrett and his crew. Anthony Bowens challenges them to a match right now, but Billy Gunn says he, as an old man, can't compete twice in one night. However, Gunn challenges them to a title match for tomorrow at All Out, with Dennis Rodman in their corner.
- Shane Taylor hype package about his career in ROH, ahead of his match against Samoa Joe for All Out. After the video, Joe hypes up his match with Taylor in the locker room.
- The Outcasts (Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Toni Storm) defeated Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander by pinfall.
- Adam Cole is backstage talking about The Dark Order. He talks about them and then reads MJF's trash talk text messages about The Dark Order as well.
- Nair talks to Statlander backstage. Soho and Saraya come in. Soho and Statlander go face-to-face. Saraya pulls Soho away and says she'll get it tomorrow bitch.
- Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Jobber Guy by pinfall.
- After the match, Miro's music hits. Both men go at it. Miro throws Hobbs over the barricade and both then stare each other down. Tomorrow they face off at All Out.
