WWE NXT RESULTS: AUGUST 29, 2023

  • Steel Cage Match: Creed Brothers defeated The Dyad by pinfall to be reinstated to the NXT roster.
  • Street Profits popped up backstage to talk with Carmelo Hayes, Stacks and Tony D'Angelo.
  • NXT Global Heritage Invitational: Butch defeated Charlie Dempsey by pinfall.
  • Mustafa Ali interrupted Dragon Lee's promo to say he thinks he deserves a a-on-one North American title shot before Lee because Lee already had one and failed.
  • Ilja Dragunov's in-ring promo (where he shouted out Trick Williams with respect) was interrupted by Meta-Four. That set up Dragunov vs. Oro Mensah for next week.
  • Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez defeated Dana Brooke and Kelani Jordan by pinfall.
  • Backstage, Carmelo Hayes got frustrated with Trick Williams because Trick didn't immediately respond positively to his question of "Do you think I can beat Dragunov on my own?" even though Williams immediately said "I don't think you can. I know you can." right after Hayes walked off. (So dumb).
  • Dijak defeated Eddy Thorpe by pinfall.
  • Backstage, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker had some cross words with each other.
  • Los Lotharios return next week, reinvigorated after both having a bad dream about how they need to start from scratch to make their grandfather proud.
  • Dom and Rhea suggest Lee vs. Ali in a No. 1 contender's match with Dom as the special guest referee to settle who fights him for the North American title at No Mercy.
  • NXT Global Heritage Invitational: Joe Coffey defeated Nathan Frazer by pinfall.
  • Thea Hail skipped class at Chase U. Duke Hudson's the middle man between she and Andre Chase. Hail decides to go out with Jacy Jayne instead.
  • Fallon Henley recruited Myles Borne to team up with Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs against Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak next week.
  • Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender's Match: Kiana James defeated Blair Davenport, Gigi Dolin, and Roxanne Perez by pinfall
