It's that time of the year where WWE Superstars put their money with their mouths are with the annual Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
Coming up this Saturday at a kickoff start time of 2 p.m. ET, WWE Money in the Bank 2023 will emanate from The O2 Arena in London, England where among several other matches in the night, the titular Money in the Bank ladder matches will take place.
Whoever climbs high and obtains the briefcase has a guaranteed title opportunity for the championship of their choosing at any moment for the next full year, which frequently means they have an almost certain victory in their future, making it one of the most important matches of the year for any Superstar to win.
But what isn't a surefire bet is which WWE Superstars will walk out of this event with the briefcases, as there are six women and seven men competing this year.
Fans have been speculating who has the best shot to win, and now, just days away from the event, sports analysts and odds makers have set the numbers for who are the top picks.
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match
As of June 28, the odds according to BetOnline for the women's match are as follows:
IYO SKY = 1/6 (-600)
Becky Lynch = 4/1 (+400)
Bayley = 8/1 (+800)
Zoey Stark = 8/1 (+800)
Trish Stratus = 12/1 (+1200)
Zelina Vega = 20/1 (+2000)
What does this tell us?
At least according to these numbers, if you're placing a bet on this year's women's ladder match, you should bank on Iyo Sky coming out victorious.
This is a bit surprising, considering Becky Lynch is the biggest overall star of the match, while Trish Stratus is a Hall of Famer and a legend as well as a featured special attraction. Stratus also has Zoey Stark as an ally by her side during the match, which should make her numbers better, but perhaps her status as a part-timer makes her more difficult to assume she'll be given this accolade.
Sky is no slouch, having won the NXT Women's Championship and Women's Tag Team Championship titles (twice), NXT Women's Tag Team Championship and other honors in WWE alone, but she's yet to reach the world title level on the main roster. Perhaps this is what will usher in that new era for her and get her her first championship, either cashing in on Asuka for the newly-minted WWE Women's Championship or heading over to Raw to take out Rhea Ripley for the equally new Women's World Championship.
This may or may not result in her split from Damage CTRL, particularly as Bayley is in this match as well, with a considerably worse set of odds to win.
I am so looking forward to seeing you guys in London!

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match
As of June 28, the odds according to BetOnline for the men's match are as follows:
LA Knight = 1/3 (-300)
Logan Paul = 6/5 (+120)
Damian Priest = 2/1 (+200)
Santos Escobar = 20/1 (+2000)
Shinsuke Nakamura = 20/1 (+2000)
Butch = 25/1 (+2500)
Ricochet = 33/1 (+3300)
What does this tell us?
For weeks, LA Knight has been the Internet Wrestling Community's overall favorite to win. Online reports have been talking about his potential to grab the briefcase and get a major push well before he was even booked in a qualifying match. Once he did in fact qualify, his chances to win became all that more reasonable.
However, Damian Priest has also been talked about as a potential option. While that might just be meaningless chatter—or, both reports could be coming from lackluster sources, for all anyone knows—it does mean it isn't a lock for LA Knight, despite how he's positioned as the betting odds favorite.
Here on Smark Out Moment, the consensus is more so that Logan Paul will win, instead, even. On The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter and Teddy Long echoed similar sentiments about how WWE will most likely have LA Knight appear to be the winner, only for Logan Paul to knock him down, grab the briefcase instead, and celebrate among a booing London crowd.
Other Money in the Bank Match Odds
Those two ladder matches aren't the only fights on the card, though.
As far as the World Heavyweight Championship match is concerned, Seth Rollins has a -2000 (1/20) odds advantage to retain over challenger Finn Balor's +700 (7/1). However, if the men's Money in the Bank ladder match happens prior to this, it means Rollins is still in jeopardy to be cashed-in on by whoever wins that match (be it Logan Paul, LA Knight or the others).
Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are favorited to win the Bloodline Civil War tag team match with -140 (5/7) odds over The Usos at +100 (1/1). Don't be shocked if that's one the odds makers have wrong, though.
Gunther is heavily favorited to retain his Intercontinental Championship over Matt Riddle with -2000 (1/20) odds compared to +700 (7/1). It shouldn't be a great night for The Original Bro.
Likewise, bet the house on Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler retaining the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships with their -10000 (1/100) odds over Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at +1100 (11/1). Those titles are staying right where they are.
Lastly, Cody Rhodes is the clear pick at -700 (1/7) to beat Dominik Mysterio at +400 (4/1). It isn't completely impossible for someone like Brock Lesnar or the rest of The Judgment Day to interfere and cost Rhodes the match, but if it remains a straight-up fight, The American Nightmare has the advantage.
