WWE Title Change: New NXT Champion Crowned at NXT Stand & Deliver

Posted by Anthony Mango Saturday, April 1, 2023

The WWE NXT Championship has changed hands as Carmelo Hayes defeated Bron Breakker to win the title at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 1, 2023.

My immediate reaction: Melo was one of the main guys to watch from the start. I mean, they quite literally said that in this feud, that he and Breakker were the handpicked two main NXT 2.0 talents. This has been months in the making. I'm not surprised at all, and I'm also totally on board with Hayes as the next champion. He's proven himself more than worthy of this spot and Breakker is ready to take the next steps on the main roster.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
