WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #433 - For Sale

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, January 14, 2023

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Dijak [NR]

In the opener of NXT New Year's Evil, Dijak overcame The Don Tony D'Angelo to earn the right to challenge Wes Lee for the North American Championship.

9. Austin Theory [-5]

After last week's victory over Seth Rollins, United States Champion Austin Theory came out to gloat on Raw, only to be on the receiving end of a beatdown by a returning Bobby Lashley.

8. Toxic Attraction [NR]

The 20-Woman Battle Royal at NXT New Year's Evil came down to both members of Toxic Attraction. After a brief brawl, both Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne fell to the floor at the same time, making them both the winner and challengers for Roxanne Perez's NXT Women's Championship.

7. Bron Breakker [NR]

Thanks in part to some collapsing ring ropes, Bron Breakker scored the count-out victory over Grayson Waller at New Year's Evil to retain the NXT Championship.

6. Imperium [NR]

In a clash of the giants, Gunther successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship over Braun Strowman on Friday's SmackDown.

5. Judgment Day [NR]

Judgment Day ran the gauntlet on Raw's Tag Team Turmoil. The combination of Finn Balor & Damian Priest, then Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio, beat Gallows & Anderson, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander, Alpha Academy & The Street Profits in succession to earn a shot at the Raw Tag Team Championship. And if that wasn't enough, Rhea Ripley was also victorious in her match with Candice LeRae.

4. Kevin Owens [+2]

A pair of wins for Kevin Owens this week, but one was certainly more satisfying than the other. On Raw Owens got a straightforward win over Baron Corbin and survived a post-match attack by The Bloodline. On SmackDown, The Bloodline again interrupted his match with Sami Zayn, meaning Owens won by DQ, but he was left broken through the announce table by Solo Sikoa.

3. Charlotte Flair [-2]

No in-ring action for Charlotte Flair this week, but the SmackDown Women's Champion was assaulted backstage by Sonya Deville leading to a heated brawl.

2. Damage Ctrl [+1]

With no sign of Becky Lynch on Raw, Bayley gained a win over Mia Yim, and then led a Damage Ctrl backstage beatdown of Yim later in the show.

1. The Bloodline [+1]

On Raw, The Bloodline's enforcer Solo Sikoa secured a victory over Dolph Ziggler. Then on SmackDown, he left the biggest impression on Kevin Owens with a splash through the announce table, although this came at the expense of a Sami Zayn defeat by DQ.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Gallus - Making a winning return to NXT, Gallus beat a worn-down Pretty Deadly to seemingly earn the next shot at The New Day's titles.

Charlie Dempsey - It was fairly easy work for Charlie Dempsey to manhandle Hank Walker on NXT New Year's Evil.

Jinder Mahal - The latest WWE main roster jobber to be treated like a megastar in NXT, Jinder Mahal picked up a win over Julius Creed on Tuesday.

Tegan Nox - In a throwaway match on SmackDown, the recently returned Tegan Nox got the victory over Xia Li.

Raquel Rodriguez - A clash of two SmackDown fan favorites ended with Raquel Rodriguez outmuscling and pinning Liv Morgan.

The Power Rankings Table (since WrestleMania 38)

  1. The Bloodline - 35 weeks (10 weeks at #1)
  2. Bianca Belair - 24 weeks (5 weeks at #1)
  3. Damage Ctrl - 22 weeks (4 weeks at #1)
