WWE NXT RESULTS: JANUARY 17, 2023

  • Apollo Crews and Axiom defeated Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams by pinfall.
  • Tony D'Angelo christened Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo an underboss.
  • Promo: Toxic Attraction spoke about winning the battle royal from last week. Lyra Valkyria came out to pick a fight and was backed up by Roxanne Perez.
  • Stevie Turner reacted to the women's battle royal from last week and said that if she were in it, she would have won it.
  • Sol Ruca defeated Alba Fyre by pinfall.
  • Promos: Dijak and Grayson Waller had typical "I'm going to beat my opponent at Vengeance Day" vignettes.
  • Alba Fyre attacked officials backstage. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter came over to stop her from getting fired. An angry and frustrated Fyre decided she'll start going after their tag team titles, even if she doesn't have a partner.
  • Gallus defeated Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs by pinfall.
  • Duke Hudson was filmed questioning Andre Chase's teaching.
  • Thea Hail defeated Valentina Feroz by pinfall. Elektra Lopez passed brass knuckles to Feroz, but she didn't use them.
  • Vic Joseph announced the passing of Jay Briscoe and offered condolences.
  • Apollo Crews made fun of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams for losing.
  • In the locker room, Lopez asked Feroz why she didn't use the brass knuckles. Feroz said she doesn't cheat. Lopez told her that she should watch her match with Wendy Choo next week as proof that, essentially, she should cheat to get ahead.
  • Promo: The New Day said they're done with Pretty Deadly and will face Gallus for the tag titles, instead. Pretty Deadly interrupted. Gallus came out, too. All three teams brawled.
  • Javier Bernal interrupted an interview McKenzie Mitchell was trying to do with Perez and Valkyria, to promote his Christmas album, but they all told him to leave.
  • Promo: Bron Breakker's previously taped interview about how he'll beat Grayson Waller at Vengeance Day.
  • Tyler Bate defeated Javier Bernal by pinfall
  • Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria defeated Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne by pinfall.
