WWE NXT NEW YEAR'S EVIL RESULTS: JANUARY 10, 2023

  • Dijak defeated Tony D'Angelo by pinfall.
  • Indus Sher vs. The Creed Brothers — This didn't happen. Instead, Sanga distracted The Creed Brothers while Jinder Mahal attacked them from behind. Veer wasn't there.
  • Tag Team Gauntlet Match: Pretty Deadly tried to take the easy route, beating two jobbers. The New Day put a stop to that by bringing out Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Pretty Deadly beat Blade and Enofe. Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen were supposed to be up next, but were attacked backstage. Instead, Gallus came out. Mark Coffey and Wolfgang defeated Pretty Deadly to win the gauntlet.
  • Vignette: Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams got some coffee at the diner Apollo Crews kept popping up in. They talked about how Crews failed to win the title, because Hayes is destined to be the next NXT champion.
  • Promo: Tiffany Stratton is back.
  • Bron Breakker retained the NXT Championship over Grayson Waller by count-out due to the ring ropes breaking twice, wherein Waller fell out of the ring and was unable to get back inside in time.
  • Charlie Dempsey defeated Hank Walker by submission
  • Alba Fyre offered Sol Ruca a match for next week.
  • Tyler Bate is returning next week.
  • NXT_Anonymous was creeping on Oro Mensah.

  • Both Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin won the 20-Woman Battle Royal No. 1 Contender's Match. Roxanne Perez will face both at Vengeance Day in a triple threat.
  • Waller will get another title shot at Breakker in a steel cage match at Vengeance Day, too.
