WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Results

JD McDonagh vs. Sami Zayn

RESULT: Sami Zayn won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Totally just a Raw match. Did nothing for me. Crowd was pumped, though, at least.

World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

RESULT: Seth Rollins retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Snooze. "What a battle" is what Michael Cole says, but I'm mentally checked out. This didn't capture my attention at all.

Damian Priest came out to try to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, but Sami Zayn attacked him, stole the briefcase and ran off.

Women's World Championship Fatal 5-Way Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Shayna Baszler vs. Zoey Stark

RESULT: Rhea Ripley retained by pinfall over Shayna Baszler.
THOUGHTS: Sloppy. Messy. This sucked. I'm so bored with this event.

John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa

RESULT: Solo Sikoa won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: 11 Samoan Spikes, if I counted correctly. This match was boring. Good for Solo getting a win over Cena, though. Couldn't have done that for Austin Theory?

MizTV with Ibrahim Al Hajjaj was interrupted by Grayson Waller, who got taken out by Miz and Ibrahim. Whatever.

United States Championship Match: Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Logan Paul

RESULT: Logan Paul won the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Best match of the show, probably. I liked the ending, with Santos Escobar putting the brass knuckles back down onto the apron, inadvertently allowing an opening for Paul to grab them and use them. Let's hope this title reign is worth it.

Women's Championship Match: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bianca Belair

RESULT: Iyo Sky retained by pinfall with some help from Bayley and a returning Kairi Sane.
THOUGHTS: Match was good enough. Sane returning is a good thing. Thumbs up.

Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest

RESULT: Cody Rhodes won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: You've seen this match and all it had to offer on Raw for the past few months. Nothing at all different.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight

RESULT: Roman Reigns retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Rinse and repeat.
