ROH Final Battle 2023 Spoilers

Keith Lee vs. Shane Taylor

I don't watch ROH, so the intensity of this feud is lost on me outside of knowing that they used to be partners in general. I'm a Keith Lee fan, but he's not been as interesting/entertaining in AEW and ROH as he was in NXT for me. Ultimately, this is a singles match that just exists, as far as my perspective goes, rather than being something I'm looking forward to or have any stakes in.

PREDICTION: Keith Lee wins.

I Quit Match: Ethan Page vs. Tony Nese

As I don't watch ROH, I couldn't care less about this feud and I have no context of it. I'm not even a fan of either of these guys in the same way that I am Keith Lee, so that's a downgrade, too. I Quit matches can be good, but they can also be kind of boring if done incorrectly. Meh. Let's just go with Ethan Page winning "because", as I don't have any real means of dissecting this storyline. Sorry!

PREDICTION: Ethan Page wins.

Survival of the Fittest Finals for the Vacated ROH World Television Championship: Dalton Castle vs. Komander vs. Kyle Fletcher vs. Lee Johnson vs. Lee Moriarty vs. TBD

I'm hoping the final participant is a big step up from the others, as none of these guys stand out to me as people I'd pick for this spot. Yikes. Given the huge amount of talent on the AEW roster, this is not at all the group I'd have picked. Frankly, I wouldn't have picked any of them to be in the match at all, save for Komander, maybe. Even then, I'm sure there are some others I'd have on equal footing as him. He's talented, but he's not someone I'd revolve a title around right now at the moment. Still, he's better than the others, so I'm rooting for him, until I know who the TBD is.

PREDICTION: TBD wins.

Jay Briscoe Memorial Fight Without Honor: FTR and Mark Briscoe vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli)

Neat. This should be fun. Lots of talented people beating the tar out of each other. Sign me up!

You can't call this a Jay Briscoe Memorial and not have Mark Briscoe's team win.

PREDICTION: FTR and Mark Briscoe win.

ROH Women's World Championship Match: Athena (c) vs. Billie Starkz

Is it time to "graduate" Athena from ROH and put her in the AEW women's division to help that out? I think so. Billie Starkz can hold this title and Athena can start gunning for the TBS Championship or AEW Women's World Championship. Time to move on.

PREDICTION: Billie Starkz wins.

AAA Mega Championship Match: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Black Taurus

I don't follow AAA. Therefore, I have no idea if Vikingo is in a state to lose this title, let alone to Black Taurus. For all I know, it's a blatantly obvious situation, one way or another. But since I'm not even watching ROH, let alone AAA, I'm flying blind.

PREDICTION: Vikingo retains??? I have no idea.

This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
