ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023 Spoilers |
ROH World Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
I had thought Briscoe would beat Samoa Joe at the last event and that Eddie Kingston would beat Claudio Castagnoli. Obviously, I was wrong. But now that this is the match scheduled for this, I think that just points to Briscoe winning this belt instead. Claudio has had his time at the top of ROH. Time for him to move on and for Briscoe to be in that position and transition that to the next champion after him (as I don't think Briscoe will hold the belt for 2 years or anything crazy).
PREDICTION: Mark Briscoe wins the belt.
Update: Apologies, but I was out of town for the week of this event. Most of the matches weren't announced until close to the show, so I didn't bother to do predictions, particularly as I don't watch Ring of Honor. Even this main event changed. It felt like it wasn't worth me doing predictions for things out of nothing and so close to the airing of the pay-per-view. Hopefully, Tony Khan does a better job prepping Final Battle and we can dive deeper into it ahead of time.
This page will be altered on a regular basis to reflect changes to the show including any new matches added to the lineup, adjustments to the card, revised predictions and any other information about this event. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
