WWE Title Change: New NXT Women's Champion Crowned on December 13, 2022

Posted by Anthony Mango Tuesday, December 13, 2022

The WWE NXT Women's Championship has changed hands as Roxanne Perez defeated Mandy Rose to win the title on the December 13, 2022 edition of NXT.

My immediate reaction: Meh. I don't like the whole trend of having people lose a title shot, only to eventually work their way back into a second opportunity where they win it that time. If Perez wasn't ready to win it the first time, she shouldn't have had that title shot back then. Arguably, she isn't ready now, either, but I'm not all that opposed to the title change, either. Hopefully, this means Toxic Attraction is coming up to the main roster before or during the Royal Rumble.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
