WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #428 - The Deadline Approaches

Posted by Callum Wiggins Saturday, December 10, 2022

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Axiom [NR]

In somewhat of a shock result, Axiom snapped up the final spot in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline with a win over Von Wagner and Andre Chase.

9. Indi Hartwell [NR]

As for the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge, it was Indi Hartwell that forced her way onto the NXT Deadline card with her Triple Threat victory over Fallon Henley and Wendy Choo.

8. Judgment Day [+2]

Dominik Mysterio scored a win over Akira Tozawa on Raw after the Japanese fighter accused the Judgment Day member of cheating. However, Rhea Ripley was unable to earn a chance at the Raw Women's Championship in her match.

7. Damage Ctrl [NR]

That is because in a Triple Threat between Bayley, Asuka and Rhea Ripley, it was the Damage Ctrl's leader who emerged victorious in her quest for one more opportunity at Bianca Belair's Raw Women's Championship.

6. Alexa Bliss [NR]

Standing in Bayley's way will be Alexa Bliss, as the former 5-time Women's Champion overcame Becky Lynch and Nikki Cross to book a Number One Contender's match for next week's Raw.

5. Seth Rollins [-1]

Still with the United States Championship on his mind, Seth Rollins ended up in a brawl with Bobby Lashley on this week's Raw.

4. Austin Theory [+1]

Meanwhile United States Champion Austin Theory was victorious in his title defense against Mustafa Ali on Raw thanks to Dolph Ziggler causing a DQ.

3. Ronda Rousey [-1]

Thanks to a distraction from Raquel Rodriguez, Ronda Rousey was unable to prevent her partner Shayna Baszler from being pinned in their tag match against Liv Morgan & Tegan Nox.

2. Ricochet [+1]

Ricochet continues to build momentum ahead of his Intercontinental Championship clash with Gunther, teaming with The New Day to defeat Imperium on SmackDown.

1. The Bloodline [No Change]

WWE's Unified Tag Team Champions The Usos took on all comers this week. On Raw, they successfully defended their belts against Matt Riddle & Kevin Owens, with Solo Sikoa then destroying Riddle post-match. On SmackDown, The Usos once again overcame tough challengers in Sheamus & Butch.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

The OC - It was a poker-motivated win for The OC over Baron Corbin & Alpha Academy on Raw.

Tony D'Angelo - The Don of NXT made a winning return from injury on Tuesday night, defeating Xyon Quinn.

Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen - In a battle of up-and-coming tag teams, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen beat Edris Enofe & Malik Blade on NXT.

The New Day - After challenging Pretty Deadly for the NXT Tag Team Championships on Tuesday, The New Day helped Ricochet defeat Imperium on SmackDown.

Liv Morgan & Tegan Nox - In Tegan Nox's first match back in WWE, she teamed with Liv Morgan to a victory over Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler.
