WWE Power Rankings Top 10 Superstars This Week: #429 - The End Of The Toxic Era In NXT | Smark Out Moment

Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all

+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week

- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week

Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

10. Grayson Waller [NR]

In the first-ever Men's Iron Survivor Challenge Match, Grayson Waller overcame Carmelo Hayes, JD McDonagh, Joe Gacy and Axiom to earn an opportunity at the NXT Championship.

9. Imperium [NR]

Despite a valiant effort from Ricochet, Gunther stood firm and retained his Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown.

8. The New Day [NR]

The New Day became Triple Crown Tag Team Champions at NXT Deadline, dethroning Pretty Deadly to add another accolade to their remarkable collection of titles.

7. Judgment Day [+1]

Wins all around for Judgment Day on Raw. The trio of Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio picked up a win over The Street Profits & Akira Tozawa. Then, Rhea Ripley was victorious over Asuka later in the show.

6. Bron Breakker [NR]

As has been the case for the majority of 2022, Bron Breakker is still NXT Champion coming out of NXT Deadline, as he brushed aside the challenge of the veteran Apollo Crews.

5. Damage Ctrl [+2]

While it wasn't a perfect week for Damage Ctrl, with Bayley failing to defeat Alexa Bliss, the rest of the group made up for it with. Iyo Sky got the better of her longtime NXT rival Candice LeRae, and then she and Dakota Kai held onto their Women's Tag Team Champions over Liv Morgan & Tegan Nox.

4. Alexa Bliss [+2]

Where Damage Ctrl stumbled, Alexa Bliss stepped up. With her victory over Bayley on Raw, Bliss earned the next opportunity at Bianca Belair's Raw Women's Championship, with the spectre of Bray Wyatt looming over her.

3. Seth Rollins [+2]

With a shot at the United States Championships up for grabs, Seth Rollins took advantage of some confusion with the referee to defeat Bobby Lashley.

2. Roxanne Perez [NR]

What an incredible week for Roxanne Perez. At NXT Deadline, she won the very first Iron Survivor Challenge Match against Cora Jade, Indi Hartwell, Zoey Stark and Kiana James. Then, the following Tuesday, Perez immediately challenged and defeated Mandy Rose, ending her 413-day reign and becoming the new NXT Women's Champion.

1. The Bloodline [No Change]

While not an especially active week for The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa did score a victory over Elias on Raw, before Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn were challenged for the December 30 SmackDown by Kevin Owens and John Cena.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Isla Dawn - After causing the referee to cough up black goo, Isla Dawn pinned Alba Fyre at NXT Deadline.

The OC - AJ Styles earned a win over Chad Gable on Raw.

Odyssey Jones - It was a surprisingly quick victory for Odyssey Jones over Von Wagner on NXT.
