Champsgiving Tournament 2022: Bring Back a Retired WWE Championship Round 1

Posted by Anthony Mango Thursday, October 27, 2022

Welcome to the fifth annual Smark Out Moment 2022 CHAMPSGIVING tournament!

This year, we're focusing on actual championships, rather than champions. The theme (or rather, question) is If you could bring back a retired championship from WWE history, which would you choose to reinstate?

To set up this year's bracket, I looked at the list of all the titles WWE used to have and deemed several of them redundant, such as the World Tag Team Championship. There isn't anything differentiating that from the current titles, outside of it being a different belt design, but that's not what this is about.

So long as the championship had something distinct about it, it made the list. The top four that I would imagine would garner the most support were given bye rounds for this first round, while the others were paired up in as close to a theme for each quadrant as I could create.

As we start on Round 1's set of matches, be sure to cast your votes below and decide who moves on to Round 2!

Million Dollar Championship vs. BYE
WCW Championship vs. Divas Championship
