Welcome to another edition of WOMEN'S WRESTLING WEEKLY—a rundown of the events which have transpired in the world of women's professional wrestling over the past several days not just with the Superstars on WWE programming, but with Impact Wrestling's Knockouts, ROH's Women of Honor, and even a glimpse at the women on the independent circuit.
WWE Monday Night Raw
Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs Asuka & Alexa Bliss
The winner of this match would advance in the Women's Tag Team Championship tournament, with both teams clear favourites should they progress. The action was exciting and frenetic, and although Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai were fantastic value for their win, the loss didn't harm Alexa Bliss and Asuka one bit. Overall, this was a stunning television bout.
Winner: Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai
Rating: 4/5

AEW Dark: Elevation
Anna Jay vs Nikki Victory

Julia Hart vs Hayley Shadows
Squash City!
Winner: Julie Hart
Rating: 2/5
Hikaru Shida & Skye Blue vs Emi Sakura & Maki Itoh
Devastatingly, this was a long and meandering mess with no real excitement value.
Winner: Emi Sakura & Maki Itoh
Rating: 2/5
WWE NXT 2.0
Blair Davenport vs Indi Hartwell
Squash City!
Winner: Blair Davenport
Rating: 2/5
Wendy Choo vs Tiffany Stratton
Despite the large amount of time dedicated to this match, the action felt quite stale, which is possibly one reason why Tiffany Stratton was removed from the Women's Tag Team Championship tournament. As a main event, this disappointed.
Winner: Wendy Choo
Rating: 2/5
AEW Dark
The Renegade Twins vs Rocky Radley & Allie Recks
Squash City!
Winner: The Renegade Twins
Rating: 2/5
Kilynn King vs Mafiosa
Squash City!
Winner: Kilynn King
Rating: 2/5
AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite
Britt Baker vs Kilynn King
This was a delightful contest that allowed Britt Baker to shine as much as she usally does, whilst elevating Kilynn King to someone who could believably take the fight to her.
Winner: Britt Baker
Rating: 3/5
Impact Wrestling
VXT vs Jordynne Grace & Mia Yim
I really do hate to rag on Chelsea Green, but she really does nothing for me in the ring. Her moves are sloppy and often dangerous, with this week's match once again descending into mediocrity. Despite the best efforts of Deonna Purrazzo, this was not the quality of match that the Knockout's Tag Team Championship deserve.
Winner: VXT
Rating: 1.5/5
Alisha vs Jessika
Squash City!
Winner: Jessika
Rating: 2/5
WWE NXT UK
There were no women's matches this week.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown
Natalya & Sonya Deville vs Shotzi & Xia Li vs Tamina & Dana Brooke vs Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H.
This match did not flow well at all, which is a real shame as with some good writing, this could have been a much better contest. As has been the trend recently, Natalya and Sonya Deville absolutely shit the bed in the ring.
Winner: Natalya & Sonya Deville
Rating: 1.5/5
Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah vs Natalya & Sonya Deville
On this week's Battle of the Brands, I shared the following thought: SmackDown loses points for allowing Sonya Deville to shit the bed in two matches. Whatever happened to the solid hand from Fire & Desire?!? I find it is pertinent to question this, as Sonya Deville is capable of so much more than she is currently producing.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah
Rating: 2/5
WWE NXT Level Up
Amari Miller vs Kiana James
Squash City!
Winner: Kiana James
Rating: 2/5
AEW Rampage
There were no women's matches this week.
MATCH OF THE WEEK:
Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs Asuka & Alexa Bliss
This contest actually felt deserving of being attached to the Women's Tag Team Championship tournament.
