The Interim AEW World Championship has been crowned as Jon Moxley defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to win the belt at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26, 2022.
My immediate reaction: I figured this would be Moxley's match to lose. He's in-house, so it makes more sense for him to be able to hold that belt going forward until CM Punk is ready to go. I was really hoping Tanahashi would win, though, as that's the more interesting outcome. Oh well. No biggie.
