AEW Title Change: CM Punk Wins AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing 2022 | Smark Out Moment

The AEW World Championship has changed hands as CM Punk defeated "Hangman" Adam Page to win the title at Double or Nothing on May 29, 2022.

My immediate reaction: To be honest, I'm disappointed Punk is champion right now. I wanted Page to win to help further establish himself and I haven't been thinking Punk was the best thing in the company. Hopefully, this is a short title reign and not something that goes on for 5 months or a year. This particular match was great, though.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
