Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for oneself, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?
This is the final Power Rankings of the 2021/2022 season, with WrestleMania 38 marking the start of the 2022/2023 campaign. As such, I am pleased to announce that, with 36 weeks' worth of appearances on this year's Power Rankings and 8 weeks at #1, Roman Reigns was the most consistently well-booked performer of the year. Bobby Lashley and The Hurt Business matched Reigns' 36 weeks, but only managed 4 weeks at #1
In terms of overall #1 finishes, Bianca Belair stands atop the pile of performers, racking up 9 weeks at #1.
Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:
NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut
10. Cameron Grimes [NR]
Cameron Grimes took full advantage of his final opportunity to qualify for the North American Championship Ladder Match at NXT Stand & Deliver, as he defeated Roderick Strong & A-Kid in a Triple Threat to claim the fifth and final spot.9. Ricochet [+1]
It was a terrible start to WrestleMania week for Ricochet, as the Intercontinental Champion was squashed in minutes on Raw by Austin Theory. But things picked up for him on SmackDown, as he overcame both members of Los Lotharios in a Triple Threat to retain his title.8. Madcap Moss [NR]
After suffering yet another loss to Drew McIntyre on Raw, Madcap Moss shocked the world on SmackDown by last eliminating United States Champion Finn Balor to win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.7. Sasha Banks & Naomi [NR]
Ahead of their opportunity at the Women's Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 38, Sasha Banks & Naomi picked up a pair of wins this week. On Raw, they teamed with Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan to beat Carmella, Zelina Vega, Natalya & Shayna Baszler, and on SmackDown they beat Carmella & Vega once again.6. Austin Theory [NR]
Another person with two victories this week was Austin Theory. He quickly dispatched of the Intercontinental Champion Ricochet on Raw, and on SmackDown teamed with The Usos to beat Shinsuke Nakamura, Rick Boogs and the United States Champion Finn Balor.5. Bianca Belair [-1]
Bianca Belair got a measure of revenge on Becky Lynch before they clash for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania, cutting away her rival's hair following their brawl.4. Finn Balor [-3]
A bad SmackDown for United States Champion Finn Balor before he will be watching WrestleMania on the sidelines. Balor was the final man eliminated by Madcap Moss in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal, before he then teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs in a loss to Austin Theory and The Usos.3. Drew McIntyre [+4]
Drew McIntyre earned what seemed to be his dozenth win over Madcap Moss in the last three months on Raw, and then closed off the go-home SmackDown before WrestleMania by chasing off Happy Corbin.2. RK-Bro [No Change]
Interference by The Street Profits meant that RK-Bro's match with The Usos on Raw ended in a disqualification. But Randy Orton & Riddle got the last laugh by taking out Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins to close the show.1. The Mysterios [+2]
The Mysterios earned the final #1 finish of the 2021/2022 Power Rankings with Rey Mysterio's victory over The Miz on Raw ahead of their tag team match at WrestleMania.HONORABLE MENTIONS
