WWE Title Change: Finn Balor Defeats Damian Priest for United States Championship | Smark Out Moment

The WWE United States Championship has changed hands as Finn Balor defeated Damian Priest to win the title on the February 28, 2022 edition of Monday Night Raw.

My immediate reaction: Well, Priest has sure had a bad 2022 compared to 2021, hasn't he? Adjusting on the fly like this right now and switching the champion so close to WrestleMania either means they had other plans for Balor and the United States title and Priest is doing something else, or, more than likely, they wanted heel Priest to face Balor and this is the way to start the feud off hot. If that's the case, it'll be a rematch, so I hope it's at least Demon King Balor against a newer variation of Priest to spice things up.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
