The WWE NXT Championship has changed hands as Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the title at NXT New Year's Evil 2022 on January 4, 2022.
My immediate reaction: This felt like a guarantee. I'm surprised it actually took this long and they didn't pull the trigger the first time these two fought. But hey, Breakker's been proving himself and looks like a legitimate member of the 2.0 movement, so the right call was made, regardless of when it happened. I totally didn't see the submission coming, though.
