WWE Survivor Series 2022 War Games

Men's War Games Match: The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa and The Usos) vs. Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens and The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Butch and Ridge Holland)

The final member of the babyface team could be any number of guys like Matt Riddle or Kevin Owens. I'd lean more toward it being the former than the latter, but the latter makes more sense to me as far as having Owens and Zayn on opposite sides.

I can't say The Brawling Brutes would have been my go-to picks to be three of the guys in this, but at least they love to fight and will bring that to WarGames. That makes sense on paper.

PREDICTION: The Bloodline wins.

Women's War Games Match: Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky), Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim and TBD

The remaining heel is interesting. Rhea Ripley is busy with The Judgment Day. Unless they plan on having those two stories merge and to put Mia Yim on the babyface side, I guess it won't be Ripley on the heel team here. Even if that's the case, it would still leave one open spot for the babyface women, which could be anyone who has drawn the ire of Damage CTRL. That means Candice LeRae, Becky Lynch (if she's able to return in time), Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah and Shotzi.

Right now, I'm thinking Ripley, Yim and Lynch will be what they pick. But this all feels strange.

Maybe it's even Sasha Banks and Naomi who join the babyface team and instead of Ripley on the heel side, they just put someone else in there. But who would that be? Ronda Rousey doesn't make sense. Baffling.

PREDICTION: n/a

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Shotzi Blackheart

Shotzi hasn't been given her proper due yet in WWE, but even while saying that, I can't pretend there's even a 10% chance she wins this match. No way in hell is Ronda Rousey dropping that belt prior to WrestleMania. Shotzi is just the latest victim to be fed to her to kill some time before Royal Rumble kicks off Mania season.

PREDICTION: Ronda Rousey retains.

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor

This feud should have ended prior to Survivor Series so that they could have had a proper mixed tag team match. Styles against Balor will be a good match, of course, but it isn't anything that actually matters. It's just filling time and repeating what we've seen before with zero stakes or any gimmicks to spice it up. After this feud's been going on for so long, this isn't the big blow-off finale to this feud that I would have ever wanted, nor is it "the thing that will keep this feud going and light another spark to heat it all up" by any means. It's just another match in the series of O.C. people against Judgment Day people dating back damn near a full year at this point, when you factor in AJ Styles against Edge at WrestleMania.

PREDICTION: AJ Styles wins.

United States Championship Triple Threat Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Austin Theory vs. Bobby Lashley

Mustafa Ali has to feel bad that he's been tossed around like a crash test dummy and isn't included in this match when it could have easily been a Fatal 4-Way. Yikes. As far as this goes, though, it should be a good match. All three guys are talented. I'd be down for any of them winning, but I think Bobby Lashley has the least likely chances of walking out with the title. Austin Theory's got a shot, but I'm thinking Seth Rollins will retain.

PREDICTION: Seth Rollins wins.
