WWE Roster 2022 Superstars List for Raw, SmackDown, NXT & More

Posted by Anthony Mango Saturday, January 1, 2022

Which WWE Superstars were on the roster in 2022? Check out this definitive list of every wrestler who was on the Raw, SmackDown and NXT rosters as well as those who were free agents and WWE Performance Center recruits as well as those who were managers, valets or authority figures rather than wrestlers.

Superstars in gold with an asterisk * indicates this superstar was bumped up to the "main roster" of Raw and SmackDown at some point this year

Italics indicate when a superstar was a newcomer to WWE this year

This list will be updated to reflect any changes, meaning if someone is traded to a different roster, the year will end with wherever they were last seen.

NXT ROSTER 2022:

2022 saw a massive shift in the NXT landscape. 205 Live was officially dismantled and replaced with NXT Level Up, which has no distinct roster of its own. Talent from NXT and the WWE Performance Center can wrestle on NXT LVL Up just as a secondary show like Main Event acts to Monday Night Raw.

NXT UK was also merged with NXT, leading to the mass release of most of that roster, with some talent being moved over to the United States operations in Florida.

The WWE Performance Center recruits are now basically a combination of NXT talent, Level Up performers and trainees, and there are also names listed from the WWE Next in Line program, though WWE NIL talent doesn't get listed quite the same.

It is a bit of a mess, lumping everything in under the NXT family, but this umbrella category is as good of a breakdown as anyone can get, as even the internal lists within WWE don't specify as many names in more detail or update as frequently as I do for this list.
