WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 Results

On the pre-show, Kayla Braxton announced that Cody Rhodes tore his pec, but "he's vowed to still face Seth Rollins". I don't have high hopes for this. I'm assuming it means they'll do some last-minute swerve thing.

Raw Women's Championship Triple Threat Match: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka vs. Becky Lynch

RESULT: Bianca Belair retained by pinfall over Asuka.
THOUGHTS: Great match. This was what pay-per-view matches should be. I can only imagine it'll all be downhill from here, right? Hopefully, I'm wrong, and this sets the tone. More matches like this and this show will be awesome.

2-on-1 Handicap Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Omos and MVP

RESULT: Bobby Lashley won by submission with some help from Cedric Alexander.
THOUGHTS: Can we finally be done with this? Probably not. I wasn't into it heading into WrestleMania TWO MONTHS ago.

Ezekiel vs. Kevin Owens

RESULT: Kevin Owens won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: This was as generic as expected. As filler on a pay-per-view, I'm sure it's fine. But I'm going to need more than "it was a match" to be wowed.

Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match: Finn Bálor, AJ Styles and Liv Morgan vs. The Judgment Day

RESULT: The Judgment Day won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: This was a great 9 p.m. match for Monday Night Raw. As a pay-per-view filler, it was okay. The bland "nothing happens other than a straight-up pinfall" ending and the overall segment left much to the imagination, though.

No Holds Barred Match: Madcap Moss vs. Happy Corbin

RESULT: Madcap Moss won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Not bad. Not good enough to make me say you have to go back and check it out if you missed it, but not bad. I liked the finish of Moss slamming the steel steps on a chair while Corbin's neck was wrapped in it.

United States Championship Match: Theory (c) vs. Mustafa Ali

RESULT: Theory retained by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: This was chicken fingers at a restaurant. You know it's not going to be an all star meal, but it's a safe choice, as they're unlikely to screw it up. This match was fine, but nothing to write home about or remember tomorrow.

Hell in a Cell Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins

RESULT: Cody Rhodes won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: How was Rhodes wrestling here? This was a damn good match AND he walked into it injured? Either this is a work, or Rhodes is one tough bastard.
