SmackDown Women's Championship Extreme Rules Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

Liv Morgan was able to get a fluke Money in the Bank cash-in. Then, she was able to retain the title on a technicality with a bad referee call, tapping out while scoring a wonky pin. The past month, she's avoided Ronda Rousey. Now, it's time they go back to what feels like the obvious, which is Rousey as champion. Sorry, Liv.

Update: This has now been changed to an Extreme Rules match. That means there's more of a chance Morgan retains, as someone might attack Rousey and start a new program with her. Perhaps Shayna Baszler? Or, maybe this is just their means to have Morgan put up more of a fight since she can use weapons, but Rousey will ultimately still get the victory.

PREDICTION: Ronda Rousey wins.

Raw Women's Championship Ladder Match: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley

I wouldn't have thought "ladder match" for these two, but those are fun, so I'm down for it. At the very least, this absolutely needed a gimmick after seeing them have so many matches before. I'm glad they've not just tried to pass it off as a regular match "because it's been a while" or called it a day with Extreme Rules like Morgan vs. Rousey. Bianca Belair has a 99% chance of walking out with the title.

PREDICTION: Bianca Belair wins.

Fight Pit: Matt Riddle vs. Seth Rollins

Yesssss. Having this inside the fight pit is exactly what Extreme Rules should be about! Now that Seth Rollins won the previous match, it is time for Matt Riddle to score the victory inside an environment he's more familiar with. This makes perfect sense.

PREDICTION: Matt Riddle wins.

Strap Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross

I wouldn't have gone with a strap match for these two, but it's a simple enough gimmick that they don't normally do, so I understand why they would have pitched that being on this card in some fashion.

This should be interesting. I doubt it will tear down the house, but it should still be good.

My guess is Kross will get the win through some sort of means that will leave McIntyre feeling like he had the match nearly won, except for "insert thing", such as a distraction by Scarlett.

PREDICTION: Karrion Kross wins.

I Quit Match: Edge vs. Finn Balor

This feud should have died a long time ago, but it just keeps going on. At the very least, I'm much more interested in the quality of this match than anything that would have happened with Dominik Mysterio. I'll give them a thumbs up on that front.

I can see a scenario happening where Balor wins this only if AJ Styles turns, which wouldn't make much sense at this point. Since Edge cut a promo about how he doesn't ever quit, so let's go with that.

PREDICTION: Edge wins.

Six-Man Tag Team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match: The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium

The Intercontinental Championship isn't on the line in this match, which means The Brawling Brutes could certainly come out on top and it doesn't really mean anything. However, I think we're still firmly in the building stages for Gunther and Imperium as a whole. If they were to lose this match, it offsets that growth and doesn't necessarily do all that much for Sheamus and his crew in the grand scheme of things.

Is it worth it? Probably not.

If I were booking this, I'd first ask what I want coming out of it. Assuming the game plan is to move past this feud, rather than to stretch it out any longer, I'd be more keen to position Imperium as the victors. But if the idea is to give The Celtic Warrior another reason to challenge for the title once more, then The Brawling Brutes win here so Sheamus can lose that title match.

PREDICTION: Imperium wins.
