WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Results

Six-Man Tag Team Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match: The Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium

RESULT: The Brawling Brutes won by pinfall (Sheamus pinned Giovanni Vinci)
THOUGHTS: Solid match. Not the most extreme things we've ever seen, by any means, but it was a good opener.

SmackDown Women's Championship Extreme Rules Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

RESULT: Ronda Rousey is your new champion by submission via referee stoppage after Morgan passed out.
THOUGHTS: There were some rough moments here with a botched chair spot in the corner and all, and the crowd's not digging Rousey winning whatsoever. I hope there's a better game plan in mind than just repeating Rousey vs. Becky Lynch and thinking Morgan not tapping means she has all the credibility in the world after a lackluster reign.

Strap Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross

RESULT: Karrion Kross won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: It was fine. There wasn't any part of this that felt like it was beyond what I had anticipated, but that doesn't mean it was bad. It just happened to be on the generic side instead of special.

Raw Women's Championship Ladder Match: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley

RESULT: Bianca Belair retained the title.
THOUGHTS: Good match. Thumbs up all around.

I Quit Match: Edge vs. Finn Balor

RESULT: Finn Balor won.
THOUGHTS: Big fan of the end of this match with the con-chair-to on Beth Phoenix as the means to get Edge to quit. That's the right call.

Fight Pit Match: Matt Riddle vs. Seth Rollins

RESULT: Matt Riddle won by submission.
THOUGHTS: Good match. The roughest part was Riddle's fall from the top. Someone had to have gotten injured there.

Bray Wyatt then makes his return with a spook show to end the night and solve that White Rabbit mystery.
