Flat out awful! Tiffany Stratton should not be anywhere near the ring at this point!

Disappointingly, this match just never got out of second gear. Let's put that down to late year malaise.

AEW Rampage: New Year's Smash

Tay Conti & Anna Jay vs Penelope Ford & The Bunny

Simply put, this was a brutal weapon fest that really put the feud onto the next level. Seeing the blood stained faces of such beautiful women was as impactful as any major Muta Scale bladejob. Top effort!

Winner: Tay Conti & Anna Jay

Rating: 3.5/5

WWE Day 1 2022

Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan

I was 50/50 about who would win this match going into Day 1, but I was absolutely blown away by how amazing Liv Morgan's offense was. Her Corner Sunset Flip Powerbomb was a sheer work of beauty!

The longer the bout went on, the more confident I became that Morgan would defeat Becky Lynch. To have that stolen at the end was heartbreaking, but I'm so happy that I once again care about the WWE Raw Women's Chanpionship.

Winner: Becky Lynch

Rating: 4/5

MATCH OF THE WEEK:

Becky Lynch

This was the match that Liv Morgan needed to highlight just how far she has come as a performer.

WOMEN OF THE WEEK:

Tay Conti, Anna Jay, Penelope Ford, & The Bunny

These women further enhanced their burgeoning reputation with a brutal weapon fest.

So there you have it, the breakdown for the week in women's wrestling. What were some of your favorite and least favorite moments from these women? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
