WWE Title Change: New NXT Cruiserweight Champion Crowned on NXT September 21, 2021 | Smark Out Moment

The WWE NXT Cruiserweight Championship has changed hands as Roderick Strong defeated Kushida to win the title on the September 21, 2021 edition of NXT.

My immediate reaction: I had a feeling Strong was going to be the next champion when it seemed like that was the direction he was heading and to stay relevant after the split of The Undisputed ERA. I'm all in on this. Strong's an established name and Kushida's held the title long enough that this doesn't fly in the face of his reign.

Since this happened, be sure to check out the updated full list of title changes for this year and the list of current champions and my predictions for who will take the belts away from them.
