- Corey Graves is once again on commentary.
- The Usos open up the show, questioning why The Street Profits interfered in family business. They issue a warning ahead of their SmackDown Tag Team Championship contenders match. The Street Profits come out and mock The Usos.
- Non-Title Match: The Street Profits defeated The Usos by disqualification.
- The Street Profits and The Usos brawl post match. Roman Reigns demands Paul Heyman bring his cousins to him, and Heyman receives a call, seemingly from Brock Lesnar. It appears that Heyman was asked to deliver a message, whilst Big E taunts Heyman with the Money in the Bank briefcase.
- Becky Lynch comes out to the ring, displaying some heelish mannerisms as she addresses the crowd. She blames Bianca Belair for not being ready at SummerSlam, which brings out The EST of WWE. Belair refuses to make excuses, adding that Lynch should defend her title tonight. Lynch says 'no' and walks away.
- Dolph Ziggler hits on Toni Storm backstage, but she says she is rooting for Rick Boogs.
- Rick Boogs defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall.
- Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville tell Becky Lynch that she will defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules. Next week at Madison Square Garden, they will sign a contract for that match.
- Seth Rollins says he requested a match against Cesaro as he wanted a new beginning. He will use the information gained from his loss against Edge at SummerSlam to win.
- Cesaro defeated Seth Rollins by disqualification.
- Seth Rollins destroys Cesaro with a steel chair post match, before Edge comes out for the save.
- Roman Reigns tells The Usos to stick to the script. Paul Heyman says there is a problem with Brock Lesnar, who will be on SmackDown next week. Reigns is visibly irritated.
- Edge tells Kayla Braxton that Seth Rollins needs to stop, and challenges him to a match next week on SmackDown.
- Happy Corbin arrives in an expensive car, whilst Kevin Owens comes out for The KO Show. Corbin is obnoxious before bringing out Logan Paul, who is greeted universally by boos. Owens insults Paul before telling him to leave WWE. Corbin takes out Owens before he can attack Paul.
- Liv Morgan scoffs backstage at Carmella being called The Most Beautiful Woman in WWE.
- Sami Zayn defeated Dominik Mysterio by pinfall.
- Naomi asks Sonya Deville for details of her match for this week, but Deville tells her to check in again next week.
- Finn Balor says he will answer tonight the question of what he would have done if he was never injured at SummerSlam 2016. As he makes his entrance, Balor is attacked in the ring by The Usos, but The Street Profits run them off.
- Roman Reigns defeated Finn Balor by submission to retain the WWE Universal Championship.
- As Roman Reigns walks up the entrance ramp, the lights briefly turn red.
