Welcome to another edition of WOMEN'S WRESTLING WEEKLY—a rundown of the events which have transpired in the world of women's professional wrestling over the past several days not just with the Superstars on WWE programming, but with Impact Wrestling's Knockouts, ROH's Women of Honor, and even a glimpse at the women on the independent circuit.
WWE Monday Night Raw
Charlotte Flair vs Shayna Baszler
As much as I hate to see Shayna Baszler lose on a consistent basis, she did at least put on a solid match with Charlotte Flair. Baszler never looked like winning, but she more than held her own in defeat. Post match, Flair interacted with Alexa Bliss in a solid manner, which is more than I could ask for.
Winner: Charlotte Flair
Rating: 3/5
Nikki A.S.H. vs Tamina
A torturous and preposterous match, especially with reports going around that Tamina was meant to win.
Winner: Nikki A.S.H.
Rating: 1.5/5
Rhea Ripley vs Natalya
This was the biggest surprise of the week for me, especially as I had no hopes of an interesting encounter. Although the match started slowly, it eventually turned into one of the best matches in recent Raw history. Natalya tapping out was a great visual, adding to Rhea Ripley's mystique.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
Rating: 3/5
Doudrop vs Eva Marie
Squash City!
Winner: Doudrop
Rating: 1.5/5
AEW Dark: Elevation
Queen Aminata vs Emi Sakura

Penelope Ford vs Layna Lennox

Winner: Penelope Ford
Rating: 2/5
Jade Cargill vs Shawna Reed
Squash City!

Rating: 2/5
Ella Shae & Jaylee vs Anna Jay & Tay Conti
Squash City!
Winner: Anna Jay & Tay Conti
Rating: 2/5
Skye Blue vs Nyla Rose
Squash City!
Winner: Nyla Rose
Rating: 2/5
WWE NXT
B-Fab vs Katrina Cortez
Squash City!
Winner: B-Fab
Rating: 2/5
Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter vs Gigi Dolan & Jacy Jayne
Set up to reveal Mandy Rose as a freshly revitalised heel, this was nothing more than a prelude to the subsequent match.
Winner: Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter (via DQ)
Rating: 2/5
Kacy Catanzaro, Kayden Carter, & Sarray vs Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolan, & Jacy Jayne
There was absolutely no chance in hell that Mandy Rose was going to lose this contest, setting her, Gigi Dolan, and Jacy Jayne up as a threat within NXT. Although not a standout match, it served it's purpose well.
Winner: Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolan, & Jacy Jayne
Rating: 2.5/5
AEW Dark
Ashley D’Amboise vs Anna Jay
Squash City!
Winner: Anna Jay
Rating: 2/5
Jade Cargill vs Angelica Risk
Squash City!
Winner: Jade Cargill
Rating: 2/5
Kilynn King vs Leyla Hirsch
Both women worked hard in what seems to be the one match a week on Dark, for AEW's women's division at least, that actually focuses on athleticism. Leyla Hirsch won, although not without a level of resistance from Kilynn King.
Winner: Leyla Hirsch
Rating: 3/5
AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite
Jade Cargill vs Leyla Hirsch
This was easily Jade Cargill's most competitive match of the week, especially after enjoying multiple squash victories. Leyla Hirsch lived up to her Legit billing, taking Cargill close to the limit, but the #3 ranked star of AEW's women's division showed her superiority in victory.
Winner: Jade Cargill
Rating: 3/5
Impact Wrestling
There were no Knockout's matches this week.
WWE NXT UK
Emilia McKenzie vs Stevie Turner
Despite the inconsistent nature of NXT UK's women's division, this was not a poor match. It wasnt a standout offering, but at least Emilia McKenzie was able to continue her burgeoning momentum.
Winner: Emilia McKenzie
Rating: 2.5/5
WWE Friday Night SmackDown
Toni Storm & Liv Morgan vs Carmella & Zelina Vega
An absolute train wreck!
Winner: Toni Storm & Liv Morgan
Rating: 1/5
AEW Rampage
Anna Jay vs The Bunny
Anna Jay has been a solid hand for AEW since she returned from injury, but this contest was unremarkable. The Bunny is a solid wrestler, but she just doesnt generate the heel heat that Jay and Tay Conti would benefit from. Jay won, but she needs to move onto something more interesting.
Winner: Anna Jay
Rating: 2.5/5
MATCH OF THE WEEK:
Rhea Ripley vs Natalya
Simply the best Natalya match for many, many years.
WOMAN OF THE WEEK:
Jade Cargill
Once again, That Bitch showed she is a pure delight to watch.
DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE WEEK:
Bianca Belair's Homecoming
Becky Lynch's current identity as a tweener is not working, which is detracting from the great work of Bianca Belair.
